sebagni and sebwolf are really two sides of the same beautiful coin. master/servant parallels, both agni and wolfram coming from immoral backgrounds, one abusing his power to enjoy a hedonist lifestyle, the other trained to take orders regardless of his superiors' wicked intentions. both forced to assume responsibility of a child, both being saved by that child in the most literal sense, both coming to love that child despite their prior grievances, blurring the label of servant to reflect guardianship.

both inevitably seeing themselves in sebastian, whose relationship with ciel appears for all the world as similarly ambiguous. would they rescind that belief if they knew what he was? would they double down? would they pity him?

and i think. idk. i think sebastian, realistically both physiologically unable and far too strong-willed to view their perception of him as anything other than foolish, might nonetheless fixate on their devotion, their love in contrast to his self-preservation, their capacity to change in ways that he cannot, and feel just a little bit angry.

3. Cielizzy, I have such a soft spot for this one tbh. When they’re happy, it makes my heart happy. My soul actually can’t take angst between them.

4. Uhhh Sebastian x any manly man, aka Sebard & Sebawolf. I don’t necessarily ship these, but I can tolerate Sebastian with just about any (adult) character.

5. Kuro women x me, what can I say 🤷‍♀️ specifically these two

Yeah that’s basically it! I’ve never felt a strong inclination to ship many characters in Kuro. Part of this series’s appeal to me is the complicated relationships/dynamics that it features. I don’t really want to take away from that experience or dumb it down, and appreciate this series for the plot, art and characters opposed to just making it a game to go “those two are in love! And those two would be cute!”

Except for sebagni, that’s my only exception 😅.
