☆ Thrift & antique store finds ☆
The little bag is full of Zuru Smashers!
My parents wanted to go into the city today to go plant shopping, and I needed to return some drawer runners for a different size.
I went into a second hand shop to look for a picture frame so I can do a second one of this project to display necklaces on, and I had success, BUT, I also found this:
I only bought one of them, and I feel a bit bad for breaking up the pair, but also I don't think bell jars need to be in pairs so whoever finds the other one will probably be happy to just have one. Anyway, I'm very excited to come up with something to craft to put inside it.
Also had success in getting some green thread so I can finish some sewing projects, and a wooden board I can use for a mosaic project I wanna do (for my house address). I was also hoping to get felt for some crafts, and some black vinyl to make labels for kitchen stuff with my CriCut, but unfortunately I couldn't find any of either, so I'll have to find them online/keep looking.
Anyway! Plants! Went to two different nurseries and here's my lovely new plants:
And the weather looks good for tomorrow so I'm going to immediately get stuck in!
I went to the antique mall yesterday and found this alarm clock.
As soon as I saw him I knew I needed him🥺
I named him Clocky McClockFace

I went to an outdoor antique sale with my Gran yesterday and found 2 gems!
From the "Romance of Science Series" written in 1925, printed in 1940. They each have chapters written about a single plant or animal and they're obviously written by someone who loves all nature because the chapter about grizzly bears is just as full of awe as the chapter about mussels. And also, look at the art!
And they have a drawing at the start of each chapter too.
