As the Advertising industry shifts and evolves at a rapid pace, we’ll discuss the growing Non-Union Commercial landscape, and what the Union is doing in response to grow and recapture this commercial work for Union members through our #AdsGoUnion campaign. We’ll touch very briefly on our outreach efforts with Agents, Casting Directors, Ad Agencies, Production Companies, New Digital Platforms, etc. We’ll also discuss how Improv performers are a big piece to this puzzle as they are incredibly valuable to Advertisers. Furthermore, given this value, Improv performers deserve to be paid fairly and the Union wants to ensure that no one is being exploited.
