Pg. 11 - The Resilient Tabard
This particular addition to the realm of high fashion pays homage to a certain Mamool Ja who once commanded Tuliyollal’s Landsguard. Zoraal Ja, who became Alexandria’s King of Resolve, is that Mamool Ja, and the sole inspiration behind this item that has been dubbed the Resilient Tabard.
Blending traditional Turali and modern Alexandrian styles culminated into this array, which is nothing short of imposing from all angles. The feathered headpiece and diadem were the hallmarks of Zoraal Ja, and the argent collar necklace and cloak-with-pauldron pay further respects to the King of Resolve.
The Tabard itself bears traditional markings and embellishments, and radiating fiercely upon its lower half are the very blades he wielded, showing off a stark image of power within the electrope-lined attire.
An excellent piece of formalwear for any occasion, and a reminder to all that uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. But just like his title dictates, you too can embrace the strength that Zoraal Ja embodied. Don the Resilient Tabard and become a beacon of resolve in the realm of high fashion.
there are hundreds, if not thousands of pieces of music in FFXIV. in fact i believe it holds the world record for the highest number of unique tracks in a single game.
but as soon as i heard this one it immediately became one of my favourite pieces of music in the entire game.

7 Fascinating and Important things I learned from the Bible
7 Fascinating and Important things I learned from the Bible
I was surprised to find out how much I didn’t know about what is in the Bible, even after going to a religious school from grade school through high school and attending various religion based churches throughout my life. I thought I knew all the “important parts” but what I found out was: I was missing the details; the very important details! I only knew the “big picture” mainstream biblical…

What, Who, Where, Why
What, Who, Where, Why
What, is reality is it a circle does it have a razor’s edge do we live in one dimension are they doorways constantly looping changing angles, colours, temperatures
Who,
are we bits of memories floating through space unaware of our true physical selves if in fact, we are
Where,
perhaps we are merely code being created every second an anomaly that exists like dust floating about with every exhale

People seek a level of challenge that is directly proportional to their insecurities.
People seek a level of challenge that is directly proportional to their insecurities. Insecurities however, have a tendency to cause impatience. Without patience it is difficult to be considerate in choosing one's challenges. It is difficult to balance the "morality" of the challenges we choose—it can make us reckless.
Without challenge we have no motivation to grow, create, and make better. With challenge we have purpose. To have purpose is one of man's greatest desires; the others being a desire to experience love and a desire for the company of others; therefore everyone has a drive to challenge themselves.
The desire to challenge ourselves is great; as is the power that insecurities have over us. We do also have a desire to overcome our insecurities; this is the same as the desire to be an adult. The definition of an adult is one who has recognized their own insecurities and has either overcome them, or is actively working on it (while at the same time, compensating for how those insecurities affect their behavior with those around them).
These are all strong motivations for seeking a challenge. In our current society, however, there is far less motivation to be patient. If we aren't skilled in the conscious recognition of our emotions, we are likely to behave automatically; our emotions are very easily swayed by the things that frighten us and make us feel unsafe.
It is because of all this that human beings have a tendency to be violent: their need for challenge is proportional to the depth of their own insecurities; the deeper the insecurity, the less patience a person has, and the more likely they are to act wildly, following their wounded emotions without using conscious reasoning.
