'SEIBOT' Micron 08 Pen on Bristol Paper 19x24in. 2022 $400 Unframed $550 Framed Seibot is one of the co founders (w/ @calamityfair) of The Tenderloin's latest sensation @mothbellygallery. Her works and murals can be seen all throughout the city both indoors and outdoors. Their work is increasingly prolific considering they got they're start painting murals in 2018! @seibot moved to SF in June 2010 after recieving a degree in Art History (with a focus on Egyptology) at UCLA. Their home city is Baltimore, MD. They got they're name 'Seibot' from drawing loads of robot characters based on family members, with whom they'd play endless hours of World of War Craft with. Seibot then named those robots 'Seibots' based on their last name 'Seibert'. The name just stuck. In 2018 @seibot decided to leave the working world and pursue art full time after managing a Starbucks for 5 years. @seibot got into painting murals by assisting local muralist @konorebi. They were also inspired by @striderpatton after hitting him up for valuable art advice. This process of asking professional artists for technical and career advice led @seibot to meet @calamityfair. After returning from a project in Barcelona, @calamityfair taught @seibot the in's and out's of wheatepasting and street art; which would eventually lead the two of them to open @mothbellygallery in 2020.
