during the smoking scene in his last vow i could really relate to sherlock and mycroft ,being a younger sibling and having an older sister and it also helps that we despise each other, but when mummy holmes catches them mycroft goes immediately to the defense of him and his little brother, something that my sister has done countless times, and sherlock, who throws mycroft under the bus, "it was mycroft", to save his own skin, which i have done countless times. i just really like how they got the siblings relationship right.
