Cursed to be in pain when separated but to always drift apart, the two find themselves at an ultimatum, after a millennium of insufferable pain and delirious joy. Their heaven, and the courts that banished them, are all but dead and forgotten. If heaven is as weak as the rumors suggest, can they reclaim their powers and take on what is left of their tormentors? Or do they continue this life not knowing when their next separation and punishment will happen?
