So I just watched basically all TFATWS except for the last episode on a [TOTALLY LEGAL SITE THAT TOTALLY IS DISNEY+] and I have to say, so far it seems really fucking good.

Highlights: 1. The way they show the Captain America label slowly corrupting John until he gets hired by Valentina is just a mwah. 2. Although the Flag Smashers did blow up a hospital and that guy fully deserved to be killed by John (ahem), I do like how they portrayed them because it shows how certain extremist groups function. Did I think Disney went too far on the sympathy factor? Yeah. Do I think they also portrayed Karli well and how her followers acted? Absolutely. 3. “If you flirt with my sister, I’ll have Carlos cut you up and feed you to the fish.” 4. The couples therapy scene. YK the one. 5. Isaiah Bradley’s whole situation was just mwah. The United States government would do that, yep. 6. Zemo. Just Zemo. The entire series he was on point. 7. The fight scene where Bucky and Sam rip the shield from Walker. 8. The parallels in the “would you take the serum” conversations between Zemo and Sam and John and Lemar were amazing. Lowlights: 1. Gonna be honest, I did not like Selby. I think the acting sucked. 2. I knew Lemar’s death was coming, but it came kind of out of nowhere? Like, it wasn’t a Taskmaster-ass death, but it was bad. 3. Bucky’s therapist. As someone with a therapist, that woman sucks. 4. The whole Wakanda thing. Bucky, my dude, you said you got a visit from the Wakandans. Did you not fucking tell them you had eight hours to give Zemo up??? Community Notes: 1. How the fuck do y’all say John is out of character in Thunderbolts??? He acts like a man who lost everything, which is what happened. Not only did he lose the Captain America title, but he lost his best friend, wife, and son. 2. I see Sambucky so clearly now. “No” yeah Bucky’s saying no because he wants to ride on you Sam, not your sister. Overall rating: 9.1/10

Selby Imp - log - day #12

I brought binoculars. I brought a sketchpad. I even brought a friend for moral support.

The Imp brought his A-game in mockery.

He’s still there, smug as ever, carved into eternity and laughing at my optimism. I swear his grin got wider. I left with a crick in my neck and a bruised ego.

Tomorrow: disguise and decoy tactics. He won’t see me coming...
