This is a post I’ve wanted to make for a while. What with a lot of the discourse.

AGABpunk people with OCD, with intrusive thoughts about morality, you are not terrible people. You are not terrible people for feeling most connected to being transfem, or being transmasc, or being cis. Even if your assigned gender doesn’t “match” what is expected for those labels. You’re also not a terrible person for self-assigning an AGAB. Or for using neoAGABs. You have committed no crime and you don’t need to do “penance” or otherwise make up for your identity.

This goes for if you’re intersex. This goes for if you’re perisex. This goes for if you’re unsure if you’re intersex or perisex.

You don’t need to apologize. You don’t need to do anything to make up for the fact that you exist. Your existence is good.

I wish there was a headcanon blog specifically for AGABpunk identities. Like, I know some blogs are more than willing to do it, but we’re a small community who don’t request very many things so it’s hard to find other people’s headcanons. If there was a blog just for us that would be nice.

I could make it, but I don’t think I have the energy to run both of these blogs.

I just feel like the community needs more positivity what with the new increase in discourse.

(Was it always this bad and I didn’t notice? Or have things actually gotten worse?)

I want to tell people that I'm amab but the doctors assigned me female when I was born. I'm supposed to be amab, but not a guy or masc. Not a girl either though. So I'm neutral but if someone asks my agab, is it okay to say amab when that's what I feel I should be?

You have my full permission to tell people you were AMAB if they ask for your AGAB.

You also have my full permission to tell people, “Why do you want to know what my genitals looked like as a baby? Pervert.”

Asking for AGAB will never not be weird and is almost always irrelevant to the topic of conversation, as it neither tells people what your medical needs are, how exactly you were raised/your experiences growing up, or anything else about you.

So do what you want. And I will fight people on this.
