Rakhsha Bandhan
Rakhsha Bandhan - A thread of bonding, love, care and hope of protection from our loved ones. Our India has a huge history on Raksha Bandhan. They are many such stories, beliefs for this tradition, wecelebrate this festivals from decades. If you are an Indian, you might have known the importance of tying this auspicious thread on brother wrist. Our India is such a colorful country, we celebrate life through this festivals. Rakshan Bandhan is a bond between our siblings, cousin, or to any such person to whom we love. As always I try to express my way of thinking and my personal experiences in blogging. We girls, tie a rakhi's to our brother's on Raksha Bandhan because we expect a love, a care, and a protection from our siblings and from our loved ones. Well, that why its defines as Rakhsha Bandhan (Protection). I have a elder brother, when he shifted to aboard for further studies., from that year to every year I was tying a Rakhi to Lord Ganesha (A Hindu God) and on my wrist too. Yeah! I truly believe that God will protect me from all evils., he will be always with me.
Well, at that time I have no idea that tying a 'rakhi' on my own wrist, proven my belief about Raksha Bandhan is true. After times, I have became vigilant of my own self, I realize my self-worth. I stopped expecting from others - like I did it earlier. I stopped to be a dependent person on others, I stopped thinking about someone will always there for me to protect me from bad. Still I continue to tie a Rakhi on my wrist - it always encourages me to be self dependent, protective for my own self and also more compassionate. Honestly, I realize that a simple thread of faith makes me self-reliant person, and now its became my strength. It makes me Happy with my own self.
This Raksha Bandhan, I wish every girl should tie a rakhi on their wrists. Trust me this makes you more confident person, self-sufficient, self-supporting, self-sustaining, self-standing. You are more worth it, you have more strength to cope up with any difficulty in life. Always Love yourself.
Love & Peace.
