9 February 2025 - Daily Drawing Day 40 #20252025Challenge I started reading Yotsuba&! by Kiyohiko Azuma back in 2008 when I was an exchange student in Japan, having previously loved Azumanga Daioh. It was a great language and culture learning tool, since most characters end up explaining to Yotsuba things that are going on. Time lapse on YouTube Shorts: https://youtube.com/shorts/t-pzMDE-SEs Watch the time lapse video of this drawing on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@darlosworld/video/7474776411455229185 See the latest at https://darlosworld.bsky.social The 2025 20-25 Challenge. New sketchbook comic about self-checkout stations and the ghost of social anxiety past. (Click image for full piece) Cartoon text: When I was younger, even basic social interactions would make me nervous. I’ve gotten better with practice, but I would’ve loved self-checkout back then, especially if it meant that I could avoid any added social stress. I don’t know if self-checkout is good for humanity or my social skills, but it is a tiny bit fun to “beep” my groceries. Thanks for reading and supporting if you can.

Goal creates accessible self-checkout know-how for visually impaired
Goal is rolling out accessible self-checkout for blind clients to all of its shops by 2026. Self-checkout programs have been a big comfort for a lot of buyers, permitting them to keep away from longer wait instances generally discovered at conventional checkout traces with cashiers. Nevertheless, those that are blind or have low imaginative and prescient usually face challenges on the…
