Happy Passover dudes
#selfieseder plus signing up for classes... of course, nothing I want to take is open! grr.
Reminding all our Jewish followers that tomorrow is Jewish Selfie Day, please tag your post #SelfieSeder.
For non Jews, please feel free to support......and please keep in mind this is not an excuse “for White People to post pictures of themselves” (we are whitepassing as established) . Jewish people are often misrepresented as ugly in Media and we hope just like Blackout this event will change that!
Friendly reminder to all my beautiful Jews that tomorrow is Selfieseder (Jewish Selfie Day) so post your faces you beautiful Jews. And remember non-Jews to be supportive and reblog!
are we still doing selfie seder on the third.
Yes!
General info for anyone who missed it: April 3rd is #selfieseder! If you’re Jewish, post selfies tagged #selfieseder, and if you’re shomer shabbos then either queue them or post them either before or after, so that they’ll be in the tag and the rest of us can reblog them.
Hey, so I'm the person who's trying to get Jewish ppl to post selfies on the 3rd and I just wanted to clarify some things, first the hashtag is #selfieseder because "jewout" sounds kind of sketch, and second if you're shomer shabbat you can still participate, just queue or schedule your selfies :)
AWESOME And I am posting it for Signalboosting for my fellow jewish followers.
#selfieseder
Inspired by the success of #blackout, let's have #selfieseder on the first night of Pesach, April Third, 2015! Start posting them in the morning, get an early start :)
"This is how you are to post selfies: with your loins girded, with your sandals on your feet, and with your staff in your hand." Nah, it doesn't matter, as long as you identify as Jewish you can participate, just tag your posts with #selfieseder. Or maybe #sederselfie, I'm not sure which is happening but I guess either one works. If you're not Jewish, reblog us and support!
During the Seder we recline on pillows and have other people pour our wine for us, because on that night we are all entitled to behave like nobility. Pesach is the perfect time for us to celebrate our freedom and our beauty and our diversity.
