☀️ staying indoors, windows shut in front of the fan or AC! it's too hot so why not have some fun inside right? maybe a at home beach date perhaps? maybe having a autumn or winter adjacent date to ignore the heat outside!
☀️ eating your favorite ice cream or frozen treat with them! Do they like it too or maybe they are just enjoying watching you have a good time! Either going out to buy it or even making it at home!
☀️ sunscreen is a must in the sun! Helping each other put it on before braving the UV rays. Do either of you not like the smell? maybe the feeling of it? Yeah it smells a little bit weird but it's good for the skin!
☀️ speaking of the beach, how about a trip! Holding hands walking along the shore or picking up groovy rocks you both see. Making sandcastles or just laying on the sand watching the clouds fly by
☀️ or do we like road trips more? Windows down (or up with the AC on), good music and yummy snacks! is it just the two of you or maybe a whole gang of friends enjoying the road and the scenery that passes by!
☀️ perfect time to eat some good fruit! Do you or them have a favorite? Is summer it's season? Cutting the fruit together, sticky fingers from the juice is too funny not to poke each other in good fun! or buying some fresh, maybe even a farmers market or two!
☀️ any fun events you'll be taking them with you? The amusement park, camping, maybe a concert or something! regardless they are really looking forward to it! Any event with you is really gonna make their summer special

Spice... My Empress of The Stars seems to like it somewhat. I find that in (what she calls) her 'cup noodle stash' are some flavours containing such. Though, as of my own viewpoint.. I find to be relatively neutral, I suppose. I do not favour foods with high levels of such, though.
Well uh- I don't think Rei's eaten too much spicy stuff before so I actually...don't know. Well- She doesn't look like the type to like it but then again maybe she does.. Actually I should really go ask her that sometime soon! For me uhhhhh I guess I'm just fine with it?? I dunno-
I find that is rather clear that my Empress of The Stars does not typically prefer the outside world. I often find her closed off in her own dark living quarters rather than the outside in the sun. She has the ability to do so, of course. In fact, she does it when she wants to spend time with her younger kin or is out to buy something that she may require. Though, of course, I, the Supreme Overlord of Ice can get her to leave her quarters with relative ease when I desire to do so. She's quite easy to persuade, after all.
Ohhh!! Rei and I go out a ton! She's like really popular outside too, there's always at least some people looking at her or talking to her- She's just that good, y'know! She's REALLY pretty so obviously she's going to get attention! But yeaa! We usually go to whatever we see that catches our eye-!

“Fie? Are you still here?”
Leon closed the door to his house behind him. A few shopping bags swung against his body, putting them down in his kitchen. He let his boyfriend stay with him for a few nights, specifically in his room. Something had made Fie start acting weird. Being weirdly shy about talking to him, seeming off in his own world, almost like Leon did something wrong. He wasn’t mad or upset at him about it. He wanted to help, but didn’t know the exact ways on how. Hopefully, chocolate and ice cream could make it better.
Leon put away everything, aside from one of the ice cream pints he bought. His favorite flavor, of course. What’s better than sharing a favorite treat with your love? He took the treat upstairs to his room, opening the door slowly. On his bed, a pile of blankets laid there. He could hear breathing, and barely see socks peeking out from the foot of the mound. That had to be him.
“There you are. I finished up at the shops, got us a small something to share.”
Fie tensed up, shuffling in his blankets. Like a kid in a cocoon of comfort, he didn’t want to look out. His emotions shouldn’t affect his partner. They already have, at least he thinks, and he hated that. Leon put the bag down near the foot of his bed, squatting down to get a better view. He couldn’t make out a face, but knew where it should be. Where those pretty eyes and fluffy hair should be. He dropped his head with a sigh, looking back up with a small idea. Maybe a talk could help.
“Listen-… you probably aren’t in a talking mood. I know you’ve had a rough day. I’m not expecting you to talk to me about it if you don’t want to. But I do want you to know that I’m here for you. You can come to me at any time you need, and I’ll be right by your side. I love you. Nothing will stop that. Just because I’m popular doesn’t mean I’ll replace you, or forget you, or anything like that. You’re my boyfriend, not my boy friend, got it?” Leon paused. “That… last part came out a bit strange but, you know what I mean!”
He laughed, waiting for a response back. Fie peaked out from his blanket pile, eyes being the only part visible. Leon gave his partner a loving smile after seeing his eyes. Those delicate jade sparkles meant the world to him.
“I got some ice cream at the mart. Like, a pint of it. Do you want to share it with me?”
“…what kind?”
“Matcha. Hopefully you don’t mind.”
“You are your matcha ice cream.” Fie laughed softly, sitting up. “Sure, I’ll share it.”
“Ace! Brought two spoons and everything. How about you get the first bite?”
“Yeah, sure.” He scooped a small bit from the tub, feeling the weight of his bed shift under Leon sitting down. “…thanks for being here. It means a lot to me.”
“Of course. Why wouldn’t I?”
“I dunno. Things are just, really strange.”
“Well, my mum always said strange things are less strange together. I live by that every day.”
“…you liar, she never said that.” Fie chuckled.
“Okay, caught me. I made it up. But it’s a good piece of advice, I’d say. Just stick with others, and you’ll be okay.” Leon shrugged, taking a bite of ice cream. He put a bit of the ice cream on Fie’s nose for emphasis. “Sweet, kind of like you.”

Selfship summer surprise is going on right now, and I have a lot of oc x canon art to showcase! Both from me and from lovely artists I’ve commissioned. So before I post to the event, I want to drop some lovely pieces to enjoy!
I’ve been hearing some people be overall mixed on oc x canon in general, let alone in self ship spaces. According to the host of the event, oc x canon is permitted, but I wanted to talk about it a little bit.
I use my ocs as a way to be somewhat dramatic with my real life issues, and giving them happy endings with loves can give me a feeling of hope for myself. Same goes for the bad endings when they get hurt, as their lovers still care about them when they are hurt. My ocs are all a part of me, and have pieces of my personality, experiences, and feelings. Even if they don't look like me, I'm speaking through them. Plus, they allow me to give voice to messages I strongly believe in and dig into cultures and histories I normally wouldn’t. My characters are often a love letter. In my own way, making an oc for a fandom is my way of saying that I love your material so much, it’s become a part of me.
In summary, my ocs are like my children and part of myself, and I usually play around with them to cope with my emotions.
I will also say that I am not fictoromantic, a label for those who are romantically attracted to fictional characters. I don't hate anyone who is, or those who believe they are dating or married to these characters! At the end of the day, it's not hurting anyone. And if things like oc x canon or selfshipping bother you, block and move on is what I say.
