‘‘Gaeotis flavolineata’‘
This is an arboreal semi-slug known as Gaeotis flavolineata. Semi-slugs are relatives of snails that seem to be “half way” between snails and slugs. For example, their shells are very lightly calcified, and in some cases reduced in size. Species often have flaps of mantle which partly or wholly cover the shell – as is the case with this species.

Puerto Rican Semi-slug (Gaeotis flavolineata)
The Puerto Rican semi-slug is a species of aboreal semi-slug that is endemic to Puerto Rico. Like other “semi-slugs” this species has a highly reduced shell that is very lightly calcified and covered with a flap of its mantle.

It’s a huge knot feeling. I am looking forward to being so close to the sea though.
