weirdly specific fandom pet peeve: when people trans a character's gender and then give them a name that's a fem/masc version of their canon name/when people create deadnames for canonically trans characters that are just the fem/masc version of their canon name. Like there are definitely some trans people who are named like that (i know one lady who did that kinda thing) but in my experience it's waaaaaaaay more common to have a totally different name, and like, most of the time its like They Would Not Fucking Name Themself That.

STOP putting untagged police brutality on my dash! Stop it! It’s triggering to some people and it’s extremely bad for my anxiety. I understand that it’s important to spread information but please tag your stuff! I can’t handle this very well sometimes, and I really do need to block the tag. I know there are a lot of people who also have anxiety over this and/or may need to block the tag for their own reasons. So please fucking tag police brutality if you’re going to post or reblog info about it!

I really hate that a lot of memes I see making fun of people specifically use the word ‘girls’ especially when it’s something that MANY people do. Not everyone who does something you don’t like is a female! Like I saw a meme that’s like ‘girls when someone doesn’t text back’ BITCH that’s all of us when someone doesn’t text back take your fucking sexist views and get them out of my face. I don’t know, I just really think that memes mocking people should be aimed at mocking nazis, not 14-year-old girls who are already vulnerable and dealing with the pressures of society.
