Sparrow has an enormous family within the 81st, and though only some share blood, the bond is all the same. I’ve been with this free company for two dang years. That’s more than I’ve ever dedicated to one group of people, and I hope that number continues to grow over time.
Some friendships fizzled, and some are still forming - but no matter what, they’ve meant a lot to me.
Depicted in the picture are some of Sparrow’s closer friends - from the left - His friend/landlord/kitchenburning victim Oriel, his bestie Kikira, his sister Nesra, his sister’s fiancee Noor, 81st Quartermaster Dieudonne, and his primary guiding figure, Senelle.
But it doesn’t stop there - he’s met amazing new people like Okiku, Sami, and all the other probies. There’s his captain, the lieutenants, fellow shadypal Auguste, former friends that have taken their own paths like S’aerdha, Rinha’li and Ferai, and more than I could ever write down.
Just know that all of you mean something very special to me and all I want to say probably isn’t amazingly appropriate for a public space, because I feel like it’s better said individually and sincerely.
Thank you all, friends and family both IC or OOC (or both!). And thank you, strangers who sometimes give me attention and seem to enjoy the odd things I post. I want to get to know all of you.
