A side character of mine who I only just recently cobbled together a design for.
Chief Medical Officer Senkor
He’s a specialist in biomechanical engineering and is a lead researcher and developer for much of the advanced prosthetics the Galra military employs. For instance he is the one who developed the systems, implants, and prosthetics for Silixus.
He has a fairly dulled sense of empathy from his time as a combat medic and is no stranger to performing ethically questionable research, but his ambition is ultimately to reduce widespread suffering especially among the people who need his prosthetics. Everything he does regarding his work is geared towards improving their quality of life and potentially making it so that future patients won’t require his prosthetics at all.
Nevertheless it wouldn’t be hard from the outside looking in to mistake him for a mad scientist or even just a psychopath who uses his position to indulge himself.
