Do you know how many muses I have!?
Headcannons I thought about at work today.
Eli can sing. He just doesn't because every time he did as a child, he was beaten for "frivolous activities."
Asuma has three scars from beatings he took protecting Katashi. Katashi doesn't know about them.
Felet doesn't know why he joined the Vipers. He just knows what he's been told home is supposed to feel like, and the Den feels like that.
Jörmungandr likes spending time as a smaller snake simply because he is tired of being giant. All it has ever brought him is fear and distrust.
There's a moment just before sunset that Sera always feels alone. She doesn't know why or how to fix it. She just takes a breath, let's herself be for one second, and then let's it go.
Emrys steals Nates' shirts sometimes, using them to accent his own style. He says it's because it makes Nate short circuit, but really, it's because his husband's sent helps him stay clean.

What is your first memory of your best friend?( to any muse that wants to answer)
"Let's see....I had only been here for about a week, and I had heard about this circus. I was told that they kept animals there, made them perform, and kept them in cages. I, understandably, did not agree with such treatments, so I went to...help them. I broke in after the show had long since ended and found where they kept the animals, and when I got there, there was a boy." Sera smiled slightly. "He was about my age, maybe a little younger, and he was playing with the animals. Letting them run over him, curling his arms around them...it was clear to me that he loved them. I got distracted watching him, and he caught me. He's still the only person who can catch me when I'm observing, and I wish he would tell me how he does it."
@prplhawk
Big spoon or little spoon //for the harper family
Emrys-
"Depends on the day, but I will never say no to being held by Nate.
@agentsanders
Pyira-
"I'm going to say... little spoon."
Sera-
"Why is that any of your business?"
Felet-
"Best thing about having two boyfriends is I get both every time."
@breannasewell
Jör-
"Little spoon. You get used to being in the middle of the cuddle puddle with Fenrir and Hel as siblings."
@helreginn
break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest? //for sera
For Sera, it'd be one of two things, and they'd have vastly different reactions.
The first being things that remind her of her childhood. And that will lead her to lash our at anyone who comes near. She'd fight until there's nothing left to fight.
The second would be the loss of someone she loves. The loss of either of her kids or her "one"( @prplhawk) would lead to a total shutdown. She might manage to take out whoever or whatever took them out, but then she'd just shut down.
How similar and different is this world from your world?
“There’s a lot of similarities but more things that are different, at least on The Island. I didn’t get to experience too much of the rest of the world before living there. Magic is a big part of…everything. We have elementals sprites, and phoenixes, and sirens, and dragons and whole hosts of other creatures, almost everyone can use some form of magic. We exist as part of it while always respecting it. The world is bright and the air is clean and it’s not as loud. I wont say that the people are better because humans will be humans across every universe but it’s more…accepting.”
Sera took a breath.
“But they don’t have coffee…or ice cream. Which is tragic.”
What's the difference between a patron and a worshipper?
“So, a worshipper isn’t exactly the right word. There’s not really a translation for it and it’s close enough that most people just get what I’m trying to say but essentially a Patron is a more focused devotion. I have shrines to the other gods, I’ve prayed to the other gods for various things if they fall within their realm of influence. But that’s more out of respect and the wish to not be struck dead than actual worship. Being a Patron of a god is more…focused.”
Why does your island have five generals? Doesn’t that get confusing?
“We have five generals because we have five gods.
I’m assuming you’re going to look at this through the lens of this world’s current Christian centric religions, where “god” is seen as this ever present, all knowing, force that sees all and yada-yada-yada. Our gods are more like the Norse or Ancient Greek or Roman gods. Powerful beings, flawed in many way, but powerful. Each land will handle their armies as they see fit, but for us we have chosen to respect and honor each of the gods with their own groups of fighters. The fighters themselves may patron any god they so choose but the leaders of the force, the generals are chosen out of that particular gods patrons. When I first joined the army I was assigned to the force for Dis, the Moon Goddess. My first war was under that force. However during the second war I took part in the only other Patron of Salight was killed, and as the only patron left on The Island I was the obvious choice for promotion.
That’s not to say that I was just handed the position, I had to prove my worth to Salight. I underwent the trials and earned my brand fairly. He…did not hold back due to my age.
As to the question of if it gets confusing, no not really. It gets annoying during strategy meeting when five stubborn people all argue their point over one another but we will always come to an agreement before spreading the news to our troops.”
