“They will never understand and love us. It doesn’t matter anyway, Jovan. ‘Cause we’re bad guys for them. We are embodiment of evil” - Milića Mišić, nyo!Serbia Being both orthodoxal Russia and Serbia have much in common. They overcame many difficulties together and thanks to that they became very close even when Serbia was under Turkey’s control with whom Russia had 12 wars. The last one (1877-1878) brought freedom to Milića. After that she started admiring Ivan and calling him Jovan (serbian version of “Ivan”). In return he gave her short name “Milla” which is similar to Russian word “cute”. Though time played with both of them evil jokes (there were situations when their bosses didn’t get on well) Milića and Ivan managed to save their friendship and love they shared. And even now these named brother and sister help and support each other. P.S. First picture is photo of the river Danube in Serbia and the fourth picture is photo of some Russian orthodoxal church (well, I guess so)
