“Muah!”

"These lectures are literally killing me." Emily grunted as she stepped into her dorm that evening, an exhausted look on her face as she dumped her things to the floor. "Why did I ever think this was a good idea to do while working?" She asked her roommate while sprawling out on her bed, turning her head only to look at the other female.

He'd been looking forward to his day off all week, something that wasn't far from normal. But this time around he just had one more reason to want it to be Saturday. There was a nervousness too, because no matter how well their previous conversations had gone, he knew that it didn't lay any groundworks for an actual date. It had been a long time since he'd even thought about going out with someone, but even so there was an optimism that had come back to his thoughts, one that had long ago faded.
If anything, the thought of Brigitte was one filled with hope. Something utterly separate from his work and the things he normally did, and he was more than glad that he'd stopped to talk to her. He'd only ever felt as comfortable around the children at the orphanage, and the thought of combining the two was something that made the whole evening seem perfect already. It didn't take long to find her house, although he did wait a moment, straightening his tie before finally knocking on her door.
Friday I'm in Love // Aaron & Serena

Aaron looked at the piece of paper in his hand, English it read. It was his very first parent teacher conference, and to say that he was nervous was an understatement. He knew that he was probably the youngest parent there, so he wasn't too worried about the looks he was receiving from some of the other parents. Aaron was worried about what the English teacher would say about his daughter, Caroline. She was never a troublesome child, but English wasn't one of her best subjects. With a sigh, Aaron raised his fist to the class room door and knocked.
"No, not at all. It just means that you did something dangerous and someone was looking out for you. How are you feeling?"
"I'm in a hospital, with what I assume to be bruised ribs based on the pain in my chest, and a concussion, which is another guess, how fine do you think I'm feeling?"
"Wait-- Were you watching over me?"
