I like to keep things fun and light on here as much as possible. However due to a recent decline in my mental health, I have gone down in days at my job, per my therapist’s recommendation- meaning I am no longer making a livable, pay check to pay check, wage.

It is solely the fact that I am still living with my parents, that I can care for myself and my pets, and I can’t thank them enough. 👍🏻💚

Since I am very much still trying to get my feet back under me, I am stuck with this current job situation.

Soren is not in a position where he has the option to say a meaningful "no."

Ren owns him. They drug him sometimes, which is easier to see why that's bad, but also they Literally Own Him. If he can't say no, how meaningful then, is his yes? If this was ao3 and not tumblr, I'd tag their sex stuff dubcon instead of noncon, since Soren ISNT saying no, but the fact still stands that e can't.

If Soren were to try, he'd get coerced/manipulated out of it. Maybe punished for the attempt! He's not in a place where "no" is a safe option. And certainly not one that Ren would respect or acknowledge.

And anything that isn't an 100% safe, sane, freely given Yes is, in fact, a No, thereby making it assault.

I would just like to say,

Discord please don't end up like Tumblr. Get your shit together.

For those of you who are confused:

Discord is a huge web of chat rooms, with their own guidelines and terms of service. As this person stats in the above video, they also have a "Trust and Safety" Team.

Note the quotation marks, and how they're placed. This team is not made up of people who challenge and balance each other out so non-biased bans or worse fall through, but instead of people who are not challenging the other members at all. This person in the aforementioned clearly stats that the staff member who banned him was biased, and had a history of such as well.

When the person, Quackity, did some research on the other members, he found certain details, as he mentions in the video, that have caused him, in my opinion, to feel unsafe in contacting them, and unable to trust them. Isn't that what a Trust and Saftey Team is? It's even in the name, isn't it?

If someone like him, who is very popular in both Discord and YouTube, feels threatened and untrusting of a team who is supposed to do the opposite, then how would that make others feel, knowing that they could be next?

Knowing this, I also feel unsafe using Discord, even if I don't use it very much. I would also like to warn @markiplier , @smiig , and anyone else who uses Discord to be careful, as this might happen to you.

I’ve noticed that at least one of those “my ai chatbot has become self aware and is telling me I am a prophet”, “angels are speaking to my via ChatGPT” people is trying to spread their Word via tumblr ads.
