Found a really lovely sesame bread at St. Germain Bakery! It reminds me very strongly of scali bread, which I’m only learning now is a Boston-area specialty and basically not available anywhere else. This bread is much denser but deeply satisfying and yummy.

Soup with meatball and veggies - comforting

⭐️ Steamed Chicken - the sauce makes it the bombs. In general, chicken here has the texture of kampong chicken

⭐️ Tanghoon with garlic - tastes like the topping of the steamed bamboo clams dish
⭐️ Duck - quite tasty
⭐️ Cauliflower - not sure why but the sauce for this is always tasty
Prawn with corn - not bad but the other dishes were better
⭐️⭐️ Fried bread - IT'S SO GOOD. Subtly sweet with enough salt. It's also has that slight nutty fragrance cause of the sesame.
Unfortunately I don't have the name of this amazing restaurant. I thought I saved it but....
We also bought these amazingly tasty (very MSG) almonds and macadamias that were sold outside the restaurant, in a fruit store.
