The party approaches. “Civilian, vacate our path,” one of the undead commands. “No, I don’t think we will,” Syv responds. “Civilian, vacate our path or face lethal consequences,” four of the undead point their halberds at the party, the fifth nocks an arrow. “Who gave you permission to use lethal force against civilians?” Dagne demands. “We are not under orders to answer questions from civilians.” “I am Commander Iura Josan,” Dagne reiterates, “who ordered you to do this?” “Iura Josan has no authority. Iura Josan, Dagne, designation: enemy. Orders on sight: capture, kill companions, return Dagne alive, not destroyed. Please come with me.” Shaken by the reply, Dagne steels themselves, “not a chance. Destroy them.” “Negative,” the undead watch the party draw weapons, “combat begins, lethal force against all except Dagne.”

During the Shopping Trip, Levin is having his meeting with Eirma! She is worried about Erei keeping secrets, and Levin is helping Erei keeping his secret! the guilt is being laid on with the dangers she overheard... she's worried what those secrets may be for him.

Eirma also wants to bring up Elymas. Levin also wants to bring up Elymas. their concerns do not align. Levin's like "so. that's Ispins BIG CRUSH! and he only JUST FOUND OUT." and Eirma is concerned about the multiple minds in one body thing. Levin is processing. it's computing. He mentioned there's some small oddities but not bad, and that Elymas says it's his patron.

ANd now Levin knows the exact spell the skull would be used for. and he's listing the ghosts we've met. of sorts. "Soth, Jandin, (blank), and. There's Caradoc. -.-" Levin is annoyed by the Caradoc mention. Levin confides that Caradoc is who killed everyone.

Levin calling Elymas fast aging being 'letting oneself go'. Eirma is... doubtful.

the Celestial/Aberration combo in Elymas is weird combo too. without any fae in Elymas, means he's not an elf. Levin is confused. He's not a teifling, so how is he not an elf? the freckles are the only physical oddity!

The rumors of a strange child from Sylvanesti is lining up more and more and more with what Eirma is learning about Elymas via informants and such. An Elf 'blessed by the gods', being special.

Between ELymas and all other events, Eirma theorizes the Gods may be coming back ( "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE PLOT RELEVANT-" KK)

Levin, seeing Eirma wants to get to the bottom of this mystery, so... Levin, politely, carefully, asks her to tell Elymas if she does find out. Levin is sure all this oddity is likely what's haunted Elymas for so long as to leave the party, as to leave home, as to be struggling now... And Eirma agrees.

Now it is time to Have Elymas and Eirma officially meet.

"ELYMAS" "no" "hear me out hear me out" "I think Lady Eirma Has leads on you?" "What" "You're not supposed to ask" "Yes but I think I. put some of the peices together" "What is she going to find out i can't" Elymas is grumbling but between Levin and Becklin convincing, Elymas will go. meet this lady. who's defacto leader of kalaman for the time being, HE SUPPOSES. He doesn't like mandatory meetings.

Becklin and Elymas Hug! Elymas is awkward and is glaring his three souls at Levin, but Levin doesn't care. He adores this moment.

Levin discovers Eirma is a half elf. not a full elf. Levin is baffled. after all, she has the ears!!

time for a card game. eirma is mandatory cards with Elymas so. He's playing. Elymas loses the first round, ties the second, and loses the third. he's surprised Eirma is not cheating, apparently.. She still receives pieces of information. What she sees is "A small child- a fully grown adult but elven, lingering by a half open door, and there hearing of his parents bickering over how old he looks, worried about what to do, worried about saving him, not wanting their baby to die *AGAIN* and there's devastation on Elymas face." "Elymas clad in a robe, with the thought of 'if they think i'm dead, it will be be better'" And also just a piece of information regarding Patron: "There's a gentle hum and silence. Then flashes of different wars, same motions, same actions, same martial skill, but various weapons. World of water, solid ground, a world of buildings that scrape the sky they are so high, but it's all bloodshed and violence. This is the leader of the charge, the troops, but doing so on the ground. Plus, a touch of Psychosis! the face is abnormally unclear, as if removed or voided with just a grin, despite the nature of the spell. besides that, there's a glimpse of a library, of various sizes- the bottom are thick, the ones on top are much thinner, and the width for each row is identical amongst all the books on the row, with each row being dedicated to differing lengths of time and dates."

Levin thinks Elymas is 600. Elymas tells Eirma he's only 101. Even as just a halfelf, Eirma knows how much a difference that is for him, especially for someone anticipating an elven lifespan. he's stubborn about being able to do it himself, but doesn't tell her not to help completely.

This leads into Eirma attributing Elymas existance to potential proof of the gods not being a a total abandoning. he doesn't see the point, but whatever- he's listening since she's keeping him to it. These lightbearers to heal and release divine fury, these beings have a few identifiable attributes... one being his freckles.

these lightbearers are often a sign for grand change. good or evil. "Does that mean there's an uptick in demonic activity potentially", trying to make sure Levin isn't overhearing as he asks. It's a possibility. Elymas looks... scared. Asking if he's mentioned how he got his abilities before. He's ready to spill others secrets. it was supposed to be jsut a dismantle the cult mission,a nd they were out of their hands. the cult was already doing a ritual, the entire town was dying as they started, as a summoning circle. The Cultists thought they were reviving a god, they were empowering a demon lord. THey barely survived, Elymas figuring the lightbearing bull he's learning about is how they survived. Levin saved their lives, getting his powers then, and Elymas thinks it's his fault then.

Eirma: says point blank "bro ur patron is trying to use you Elymas: noone could get to my body to use me that way wtf? Eirma: ..........child-

there's a switch in this conversation, and Eirma clocks it. The patron confesses to conquering four planets. The patron just wants to go back home, apparently, Elymas being an ingredient for that. Patron doesn't know what a Celestial even is. ELymas is too stubborn to give up, a minor annoyance for the Patron. Eirma is pulling a threat on the Patron, a mild amusement. They have a multiverse to back to. they hav ea bone to pick with a different version of 'Elymas' that isn't Elymas. Eirma asks for Patrons name, in their home. "You can call me Adie."

"Levin. This is not Elymas. This is someone that calls themselves Adie, and is currently inhabiting Elymas Avas body." "Excuse you, I'm his, what did he call this, PATRON. that's the word." "ah, Well, Both of those are true." Levin is looking between them nervously. Then, 'Adie' takes the hairties off, saying how annoying they are. "I enjoyed the Card game! If you wanted my name, Knight Caradoc." Eirma raises an eyebrow. "So that is who it is." Levin FacePalms. 'Elymas' makes a grumpface, but different. "Get this paladin away from me." "Bite me." "You should look up something about me- You may even find an old portrait-" and his voice scrapes back, head drops, and "Sorry. I've got an unnecessary annoyance as a third." Adie is annoyed. "Levin... we cannot trust this person on their own. If you cold accompany them outside, I will plan for the rest." Adie sighs, and looks at Levin. "Come in, come in. Lady Eirma, I need to talk to you a little more. If you'll allow it." Curiousity wins her over. "I saw you looking at memories early. You want the whole thing?" hand outstretched. "Here's teh deal: You stay out of my way, I'll help with your dragon problem. as a show of good faith, i want to show you my character." "And you knew him, right?" Eirma mutters to Levin, taking a card from her deck. "If, this person does something, Levin, are you strong enough to kill him?" Levin looks at his hands, looks at Elymas face, doesn't see his friend, and grabs his trident. Eirma takes Adie's hand. Adie is being honest. The memories start with static. It's a world of scifi, tacky colors, technology so grand it's magical. Adie leads a rebellion, successful, and watching as an 'Elymas' is killed and fizzles out of existence. it's a military state and takeover, and there's peace as Adie obsesses trying to find this other 'Elymas'. It's with Conquest they go planet to planet, treating allies well, but killing in the same breadth. the memories are what the library was filled with, and the static is lost memories. Upon reaching the final planet, Adie is killed... and then, suddenly, they're in the fort in our Elymas' body, meeting the party. That's the story. Adie speaks before Eirma can, "So Look, I know this isn't exactly the most moral activity, but I am someone of principle, I'm sure you saw that much. Plenty of agreements, I followed through, even when I didn't want to. I'm just saying you stay out of my way, and I'll help with your problems, if you stay out of the way of mine." "I, Can, Consider it." "I'm not going to be told i didn't uphold the deal if you get attacked while I'm gone." "I just want your word to not hurt the people in your party." "So no intentional harm, and being unaware of potential harm." "what abotu when the person is compromised? What's the plant here?" Levin interjects with a personal 'sister becklin', trident sheithed. "I want you to follow Levin's lead." "ME?" "I don't know how much control Elymas has-" "Absolutely none" "and I don't know how much control you have when Elymas is in the lead" "that's a good question, I've not figured that out." "Don't give Elymas reasons to attack." "Don't worry, I don't have to do anything. He does that to himself plenty." "then you Agree Levin is a good example to follow?" Levin gets a once over. "Hmph. Paragon Type. Yeah, sure. should we write this up? a contract, or whatever." Eirma starts writing with a floating pen and paper. "I'm not going to get used to this 'magic' thing you thing have." "You could consider it a science: you must study it."

"You know, for a bit i thought i was in an alternate version of myself. would have made things easier." "Well I don't know anything about another Adie." "Well, I read something K wrote about something something soulfused dies, all alternates dies, so whoever mine was probably kicked the bucket." They try and read the writing, "So I can't actually read this- I can speak whatever this tongue is, but I can't read it. Common? whatever. One second, I'm making Caradoc read it to me." Eirma is just "I may have something to help with that." And taps comprehend languages onto his temple, letting Adie be able to read the writing. "Is there anything special i need to do with this or?" "You can sign it?" And Adie does, with full name. "This is not what I was expecting." Levin, with more panic, "ME NEITHER?" "All the more reason for you to keep an eye on them." Adie rolls eyes, but understands it. "Could you let Elymas have his own Body?" "Do I have to now??" "Elymas needs to know." "No he doesn't." "I think he does when you are taking control of someone's body, and he doesn't even know." "He won't believe you. He didn't even believe you earlier!" But Adie Acquiesces. "One condition." "which is?" "What do you know about Magic Nullification. Not about you, I just need to know how to deal with a spell coming at me." "I think he'd already know." "He can counter the spells, yes, but he can't nullify them! it's inefficient, that would be better." "I will not give you that kind of information." "I'll find out myself." "Most people don't know or believe about magic." "You're no fun." "I'm plenty of fun." Chuckles. "Right- that cardtrick was fun. Hoped you'd get caradoc over me." "Unfortunate for you, after all."

"I'm used to being the only 'magical' entity in the room." "Well, that's changing." Adie rolls his eyes, smiles at Levin, takes his arm and, "Well Levin lets go! Didn't you say you needed to pick things up? Lets go in a group!" Levin is panic. poor pubpy.

When Kay, Erei, Eirma, and Luvianna had dinner at a restaurant. Meanwhile, Nimako and Sky studied up on Sylvanesti before bed. They learned:

Erei and Nimako notice Levin's stress when Becklin iniatiates Libary time with Elymas. Nimako encourages Levin to have the talk with Erei when Erei tries to pull him aside, and it turns into a whole group trip to the LIbrary. Erei is trying to get Levin to confide in him, and Levin is just... panicking more. The child is worried.

"Erei I'm going to be blunt with you. I'm finding out he's not as stable as I thought" "Yeah because there's three of them."

Levin has been caught. Very long silence.

"Soooo.... how much did you find out? Did..... you meet the others?" Levin is shuffling anxiously. "So Caradoc's back..." "Oh shit." "Yeah. I don't like him." "So that's one of them. What about the other two? One's Elymas right?" "I hope so?" "And the third one?" "Uhhh. His. patron?" "Ah. liek paying him?" "No a magic thing. Warlock." "So would you say Elymas, the real one is Evil?" "Dubious at best." "Well two of them are Evil." "wait. Evil?" "That's what Maple told me." Levin is screaming internally as he's looking for Maple. Maple is not being percieved right now. "Eh- Yeah. His. patron's scary. Lady Eirma made a deal, theyr'e going to help us with the war, but i don't' trust them, Don't trust them, please keep your distance from Elymas. Just. dont' get in the way please." "If he's evil won't Elymas be in danger?"

~more silence~

"I think he's already in more danger then we know." "Then we nee dot help- not run away. "Erei i don't think this is a winnable situation." "Should we... tell everyone there's more then one?" "Maybe Kay?" And Levin is going to ignore names right now, not thinking about it.

At the Library, Sky has a moment, and self combusts. They do not listen to Nimako or Erei, and Kay has to swing in and scoop Sky out of the building. Kay is burning. it hurts. But they are GOING.

Nothing is putting out the fire! Nimako meets Maple while Erei is in traumatic shock over seeing Sky on Fire! there's a whole scene where Maple wants to eat the cooked bird and Nimako just... she goes to try and help. It doesn't work. nothing is putting them out.

Kay links with Sky, and finds out it's sky having a meltdown- and bails, to help Erei instead. not their forte. Levin goes to get Elymas, so as to get cold damage to put out the fire, but Nimako... Get's sky's attention.

Sky makes blazing eye contact with Nimako, and being stared down by the phoenix sends a bolt through her, and she backs up, but not leaving. She lifts her hands in a small surrender, ignoring the way the blaze increased as she backed up, and starts a series of yes or no questions. With each question, she steps a bit closer. Levin comes back with Elymas only for the flames to have distinguished. Nimako doesn't look away, closing the distance, and crouching down. She's shaking still, sure, but he holds out her hands. Sky flinches when they reach for it, feeling her shaking, but both keep hands together. Nimako closes Skies hands together, sandwiching them in hers.

"can you hear me." "do you know what you're doing?" "Will you look at your hands right now?" "is it about your dad?" "was it something that happened today?"

She offers to talk. Nimako helps sky Stand, and they're both shaking. She mentions to the others they'll just go to the garden- to sky she mentions the fountain gives good ambient sound. Secretly, it's a water source, but that's besides the point. As they begin walking, She's able to level her breathing and stop shaking, as SKy continues to tremble.
