Thought I'd share some of the set design I managed to sort out for Lost Heart (the photoshoots today!! 👀)

I made/designed everything myself. The hanging decoration is just a hula hoop I decorated and attached fishing wire to. The arch was from B&M for £15.

I still have to fill in the gaps with other set pieces today, but I'm really proud of what I have, considering everything came to just under £100.

Last summer I met up with @vesperal to discuss an idea we had - an idea to create a short film, and submit it to @fakedansavage's "HUMP FEST" amateur p*rn film festival. We decided on a theme of 'confessions', starring yours truly as the repentant sinner. 🙏 ⛪️

We decided that we wanted to build a church confessional out of an old wardrobe and I immediately started scouring the internet to find one for free - and the very next day there was a wooden wardrobe labelled FREE right outside of their house. Coincidence!? Too good to be true!

Unfortunately the film didn't get into the festival, but I hope to submit it to others this year, so we aren't releasing it publicly just yet. On the bridge side, we had this incredible handmade 'confessional' to shoot in when we recently had a viewing party for the film.

Has anyone had to do these LED balloons before?

They were probably my least favorite item that I had to use for an event. I had to do like 30 of them for a bat mitzvah as part of the centerpieces (along with multi colored orbees in huge ass cylinder vases). It took me forfuckingever to both put them together & take them back down.

I actually hate them more than the chiavari chairs. At least from a setup pov.

They do look cool here though.

I don't know how I missed that they were my decor nemesis until just a few minutes ago. Fuck doing enough of those to cover the ceiling, it would take forfuckingever.

I know this tweet is a few days old but I just can’t get over the level of detail and attention to detail that the crew of Stranger Things bring to this show! It’s truly astounding. Also thoughts on what we think these are? Because to me they look like melted marshmallows on top of blue jello? Was this a popular treat in the eighties? Do people still make these?
