My partner and I started this little project a while ago and finally finished it.
A comprehensive chart of all clans and bloodlines and their connections. This is mainly based upon V20 lore with some earlier where needed (eg blood brothers).
Some information:
The straight lines represent connections that are confirmed in the lore.
The dotted lines represent connections that are theorized in the lore.
While working on this we got informed that the arabic logos from the books are not only wrong but often borderline offensive, therefore we decided to work make new ones (that's why the arabic logos might look different to the books versions).
We had a blast working on it and maybe this is useful for someone else as a quick cheat-sheet!
If you have any critique or spot a mistake please let me know and if possible include your source (the books) so I can look for more information!

(Sorry everyone - I've seeing the reels of people lip-syncing to the AI Choir cover of Sisqo's Thong Song and it's been in my head I'm sorry)
I've been reading some V20 material again and honestly, it's genuinely fascinating to me just how it portrays the blood/curse/whatever as something that is ultimately (if rarely) mutable.
The Tzimisce and the Gangrel are the obvious examples of this, but there's also the Setites. Because you have the "regular" Setites and the Warriors, except it's often stated that the Warriors' proficiency with Potence (at the expense of Obfuscate) is not actually a bloodborne proficiency, but a LEARNED one. And yes, it mentions how childer of Warriors may have an easier time learning Potence with instruction, but it's still fascinating to me.
It's proof to me that a vampire can influence their own state to a degree. Obviously I'm not talking about the Blush here, but this - proficiency in disciplines, perhaps even their clan curse?
It makes a certain amount of sense to me and in a way, it feels like a decently plausible explanation how this, when taken to the logical extreme, might be in part how divergent Bloodlines actually form.
Masters of manipulation and corruption, Setites (clan Ministry) know all seven sins and will bring out the worst out of you. But where people see chaos seekers, Setites actually want to free you from the prison of matter. They want to destroy what trap your soul: the system, its laws and its moral, all false doctrine that you need to forget to transcend to your divine self.
Feeling tempted? They sure know how to have a good time.
Clan 10/13 of my Halloween project (we're almost done omg)
npcs for my new york vtm chronicle i drew 🦇🖤 this is the first batch of the first arch of the story :) i loveeee world building and making characters. it makes me so happy when my players enjoy them even tho they might just appear for one session lol 🖤 rip belladonna.. they get first pic privileges since they were the first kindred to die lol ⚰️ ooh i can yap abt them all day
I'm really trying to focus on my Carmichael Chronicles story and mostly what I've been doing lately is building out characters and the things they have going on. Namely Sylvie Meadowlark! This is obvs WIP and first draft and all that.
Sylvie Is known as the Attuned. Her 4 closest followers and Ghouls are called the Choir. The Choir is made up of women, as are most of her followers. This isn't from direct exclusion of masculine people but from her teaches focusing on the empowering of femininity. It is also due to her primary targets being mostly the bored stay at home spouses that lack a sense of fulfillment. The kind of neglected spouse that has not had an orgasm in their whole marriage, possibly their whole life. Bored, unfulfilled, and needing just one person who can make them feel special.
NXIVM inspired MLM cult. On the front it looks like a self-help and spiritual guidance platform that sells all the mystic baubles you need to make your universe right. The more advanced programs reinforce the idea of being made from stardust, with those known as starseeds being the leaders of those made of stardust and that it is their essence that fuels them. (explanation for why vampires drink blood, they are starseeds seeking sustenance)
The Choir run yoga health studios of their own as a scouting stage for recruitment. They push the MLM side of it with the people recruited under them. Only ones deemed worthy (top sellers or those more deep into the spiritual aspect) are brought to join Sylvie's studio. Unlike in real life where the myth of the cult leader can fall flat in the presence of the real person, this is not the case. As a Minister she truly has the aura and above human presence that is implied by the members higher up in the hierarchy, cementing the myth behind the cult leader.
She is fed by her Choir bringing her others from their studios for private lessons, harmonic reattunment, vibrational syncopation, and other titles for taking them into a room alone and biting them. They all give temselves willingly, but none know the full truth but Its Choir. Although, Sylvie truly believes what she preaches. She does perform ceremonial acts that she does think attunes someone to the vibrations of the universe and so on. A lot of this is done with sexual gratification. However this is not done with penetration from Sylvie but in ways such as use of crystals and other objects, or by them grinding on her until reaching an orgasm. The exact method depends on the reason for why they "needed" the private session and the method Sylvie takes to elevate their spirituality. It's not all sexual as Sylvie wants to maintain "balance" so she will bring those in these sessions to emotional and physical extremes as needed to get the desired blood resonance. It all ends with Sylvie's fangs in them (assuming the act didn't require blood letting.)
There is no name of her organized abuse of the bored. In her own words "How can a name be put to a movement of echoes coalescing into a harmonic voice? This isn't a fast food franchise, it is a way of thought and living. Those that accept it know what and who they belong to." Because of this Sylvie doesn't directly profit from sales made in lower levels, but her Choir, along with those directly under them, do and all dues collected by them for their yoga studios and other means have a percentage kicked back to Sylvie. She also comes from a very wealthy background and was taught by her sire how to keep her money "growing like a tree and safe from the man". The house that was converted into her isolated yoga paradise on the water was bought and paid for in the 90's, before she was embraced.
The more loose organization of her cult has allowed her to avoid the attention of alphabet agencies, something she was taught to avoid even before her embrace. The ATF, DEA, FBI, and CIA have proven the lengths and extremes they will go to in order to destroy perceived cults. In this, she knows to keep her vampiric nature secret. She uses drugs, powers, and good ol' gas-lighting to keep it hush among those that observe special ceremonies or participate in her private sessions.
Another VtM OC! Meet Julian Wainwright, a cunning Setite who runs a nightclub with his clan mates called the House of Apophis.
Julian is many things: a liar, an enabler, and a grade-A messy bitch. In true Setite fashion, he indulges the chaotic desires of those who fall into his sway, often to their own detriment. He has a natural talent for spying (usually for gossiping purposes), and will occasionally act as an informant to fellow Kindred. Julian is a powerful ally, but a nightmarish enemy.
He and Darius are… uh… I think “boyfriends” is a bit too polite for whatever they have going on. There’s as much backstabbing and double crossing between them as there is sloppy make out sessions in the alley behind Julian’s nightclub. Their shared hunger for occult knowledge both draws them together and stokes the fires of their rivalry.
Also, his voiceclaim is James Monroe Iglehart. Have fun with that. :3
