When we have to get from point A to point B, we figure out the best way to get there looking for the shortest route. We are so excited to set out and we stay the course full of ideas until the complications arise. The strength and energy it takes to stay aware of what’s ahead needs replenishing from time to time. If we get distracted by difficulties, get lost in the middle, fear takes over, making it harder to stay the course reaching the destination. When “better prepared” we can fight off the obstacles and able to stay until we get there.
When we believe we are worth it and have the skills to accomplish the task we’re prepared and ready. The hardship getting there is discouraging becoming difficult to stay on board and not jump onto the life boat instead. We start out with lots of energy facing strong headwinds, pushing through and then the wind stops leaving us with no power. To stay the course until reaching the destination, learn all we can before we set out and know it takes courage.
The obstacles we have to get around to achieve what we want are daunting and “sway’ us in other directions. The ability to stay till the end is having patience for the long haul and confidence believing we can do it. Stay till the end and see, we can have peace and joy.
