HAPPY DR. SEUSS DAY, EVERYONE!!!! This is a bit of an older drawing, but I deemed it appropriate to post today. I made this piece to commemorate my time doing a community theatre production of Seussical back in July. Seussical was a musical that completely changed my life. I'm not going to go into detail bc it's quite personal, but I literally would not be where I am today if it wasn't for Seussical. Thank you, Seussical 💖

The character on the right is one of my Cadet OCs, and I chose to have him in here bc I played a Cadet during my time in Seussical, and he was essentially my "Cadetsona" for the show bc he was the closest of my Cadet OCs to the actual canon Cadets.

Saw someone (I don't quite know who) saying we should have designated days of the week for each Seussical character, with one person saying that we should dedicate Wednesday to the Wickershams. Wickersham Wednesday. So here's a quick drawing of Marvin!! His headcanon name here (along with his brothers) was given to him by a friend of mine. Marvin represents Wickersham Brother #1 from Seussical. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who thinks so, but I think that after the Whos reveal themselves and the Wickershams get redeemed, Marvin would give off major big brother energy. He's not technically a big brother in my personal Seussiverse bc him and the other Wickersham Brothers are triplets, but Marvin's still the oldest of the triplets, so I guess he gets that honorary "big brother" title :} I just drew Marvin for today cause I literally saw that post at the last second and didn't have time to draw the other Wickershams :( some of you may see this when it's not Wednesday but it's okay cause this was originally posted on a Wednesday :} anyway, very first Wickersham Wednesday is in the books!! Hope you like this little Marvin!!

Happy second Wickersham Wednesday!! This is a drawing of something that I'm still deciding may or may not be canon to my Seussiverse. He's based off the fact that a lot of productions of Seussical cast a secret fourth Wickersham Brother even though the script only calls for three. His story as of right now is that he's the Wickershams' fourth brother (they call themselves triplets bc that's how they grew up but they're actually quadruplets) who died as a baby. Still figuring out what his cause of death might be. The Wickershams obviously miss their brother as a concept, but in reality, he died while they were still too young to fully remember him. This might be non-canon to my Seussiverse, but sometimes I like to think that the reason that Chris (my OC who I ship with Ted; Wickersham Brother #2) caught Ted's eye so fast was bc his tail was dyed green, just like his late brother's hair. As for his name, I'm thinking his name might be Simon Wickersham. Anyway, that's all I have for this guy, hope you like him :}

So we got some homework in Musical. What we have to do is come up with a name for our character if they dont have a name already, how old they are, they're birthday, fave food, etc. So basically we're coming up with headcannons for the Seussical characters.

It's actually kinda tough. Cat in the Hat is kind of an anomaly because he isn't a Who and he isn't a Noolian. He's the narrator but he's not really part of either group. So sad. The only reason he's so mischievous is because he's so alone, and no one is like him. Oh poor bb <3 Let me just come up with a heart-wrenching headcanon/headcannon for the cat and make the production team cry.

I can't decide if I want him to have a fancy name that gets abbreviated to cat in the hat and is passed down through the family, or go the other route and gave him a completely unrelated name.
