and another thing ☝️ this makes it overtly clear that mark was going to turn around and walk away from the exit door regardless of helly being there. but it’s TV and this moment in the story has to move fast, so watching mark run down the hallways alone to find helly wouldn’t have been as satisfying. it’s more a full circle moment compared to his solo run in 2x01 if he runs WITH helly.

ahh the pre-OTC kiss. helly is always doing and saying the brave thing first. she’s so unrestrained and bold. it’s clear she was nervous here but she still takes a risk and goes for it. i wonder if helena was thinking about this moment when she put herself out there and approached mark at zufu.

and i guess this is technically an error but i like the inconsistencies between the security footage of the kiss in s2 and how it was shown in s1. in s1 helly grabs mark’s lapels, but here they’re holding hands 😭 i love both versions so much.

this moment fucked me up forever. a lonely person watching a connection she longs for. she’s this deeply repressed person so focused on work and perfection and she’s coming to terms with how sterile her life is in comparison to helly. who is fierce and cruel and probably terrifies helena. but is also capable of an emotional romantic relationship that helena maybe doesn’t feel capable of. this starts her journey to seeing the innies as people. but it’s also about self-discovery and jealously. and there’s NO DIALOGUE! the only one speaking is helly on the recoding from last season.

if reintergration sickness is bad thing then why does it make you see visions of fucking multiple hot women?but fr this must have been so disorienting for mark s. at least when mark scout saw helly he knew he was accessing his other half’s memories. mark s has no idea wtf is going on.

and side rant. it’s crazy to me that people complain that this show suddenly became a romance with atilla. the memories and feelings that bleed through and transcend seem to have great personal value. of course the passion and intensity of sex would a top contender to bleed through first.
