Once Upon a Time: Official Teaser
(The real question is: how out of order is this teaser? The OzoneSun one was SO out of order that the teaser told a different story than the episode itself. Will we get the same thing? Or will this follow more chronologically?)
So far, 7 Project has not impressed me. But damn is Ozone adorable as a teasing, confident and friendly university student. Better than the whole rest of the plot is his character growth.
Gotta be honest, nothing this trailer screams 'love story' to me.
7 Project: VS Love
Hallelujah 7 Project has given me an episode that actually felt like a complete emotional journey! FINALLY.
Will 7 Project ever give the queers a happy ending? Who's to say. I know we got Ozone/Sun confirmation, but like. Crumbs. Crumbs of happiness.
Hey, Mek and Balloon did get a happy ending post-credits! They definitely made the choice to stay together.
What that looks like is a good question... did Balloon come out? Did Mek agree to hide it from his family but come out otherwise? Did they go to America together?
But they got a happy ending. They found each other and their love again and honestly that episode alone might be the only good one but it was, at least, very good.
I really enjoyed it, even if I am fascinated by the small trend of 'characters not being in the same place in coming out' being a plot point. It's definitely newer in terms of BL and I do enjoy it. It's a slightly different twist to the secret relationship, at least.
I am glad we got Ozone and Sun confirmed, though. I hope we get at least one cute scene with both of them, though, and not just Ozone talking to his phone.
Excuse me, tiny and confident University Ozone... when did this happen, how are you this cute and why are you teasing people?
So far, I am shockingly unimpressed by 7 project. It's sad because the actors are all fantastic! But the plots and especially the endings so far have just... left me very, very flat.
At least the actors are good? And the visuals are good. And it's very pretty, no denials.
But, man, these are not the stories or the endings I was looking for, honestly.
