Severance 2.07 | Chikhai Bardo
All of the flashback scenes were shot in a very short period of time. And it was a bit of acting gymnastics, because we were going from happy moments to very dark, sad, difficult moments. Ben Stiller and Jessica Lee Gagné had this idea to film on a Bolex, which is like an old film camera. So, in between setups, Adam and I would go outside, and Ben would capture these happy moments. It felt very wild and free and loose, which is very different to how the whole show is essentially shot in this controlled, oppressive symmetry. And the lighting and everything is very stark and harsh. To be in that environment felt really freeing.
DICHEN LACHMAN and ADAM SCOTT | Severance — 2.07: Chikhai Bardo (BTS)
The terrifying events at the core of Gothic romance take place in an alien world set apart from normal quotidian experience and from the logical and moral laws of everyday reality. It is also separated from the usual social relations of life in its outward forms, although — and this fact has never been adequately recognized — those relations reappear in this alien world in disguise and are in many ways its primary subject.

Hey, so, uh, is it just me, or has Mark seemed more volatile specifically since Regbahi flooded the chip? Like, I know he's going through A Lot, and he's always been an asshole and never has been good at handling his negative emotions but, you know, does anyone else wonder if difficulty regulating emotions might be a side effect of experimental brain procedures? Anyone else worried about whether there will be long-lasting effects from this? Anyone really anxious that this will blow up on Mark and his goals in the worst way and everyone will just blame him for it?
Here's how devongemma can still win
oh. so i bet the macrodata refinement is them building a system to identify in gemma when she is feeling what emotion so that if someone was severed for everyday life and wanted to avoid every negative emotion (fear from flying, pain from the dentist, etc) they would automatically switch to whichever severed version of them is "for" that kind of emotion. the different boxes are based on feelings! what the fuck
Ayo what’s up with the fucking twins?
Do they fucking not hire you if they don’t also have a doppelgänger to hire????
Do they breed them/clone theory. I was really anti-clone theory but now I’m like????? What the fuck.
Their faces are different? Do they just find someone of the same body type/skin colour and make them cut their hair and dress like the innies what the FUCK
