sickening that they used ms. casey's kindness as a reason to find and rescue gemma scout. like. mammalians nurturable talk about how ms. casey was always kind, had a gentle way about her, and mark and helly immediately go "right, which is why we need to find gemma." as if they're the same person. and that's exactly how the innies are treated, isn't it. and how willing mark s. was to guide ms. casey to her death, like he didn't even comprehend that that was what he was doing. because gemma scout is more important than ms. casey. but why? because she's lived longer? met more people? means more to others? has more to contribute? who gets to decide that?
