Quick side post Today we have the “most confused with plecos” Sewellia sp. hillstream loach! This vid is not long but packed full of info. They also do the famous pleco eyeroll/blink a few times in this video. (So we got plecos, corydoras and now hillstream loaches that do it!)

I posted this because hillstream loaches often come up in pleco conversation due to being mislabeled “butterfly pleco”.

(I appreciate all of your support/understanding if I have a side post. As this one was, it’s not pleco but somewhat pleco related.)

Please tell me I’m not the only pleco person who would want a chaetostoma (rubberlip pleco) / sewellia (hillstream loach) tank.

The whole fast moving water flow and smooth rocks everywhere type biotope.

Of course, due to water temperature differences and such it probably wouldn’t be possible. I really love the concept though.
