Anna is at risk of loosing her home and has already lost access to her meds, phone, and internet. Internet issues caused her to lose her remote job, and she is unable to cover the front cost of fabric supplies for orders for her sewing work at this time. My next new sewing term starts on June 5th, so it's time once more for me to ask if you can spare a few dollars to drop in my little tin cup, to help my students afford fabric to create garments they'll be proud to show off.

Because of the funds you've helped me raise for previous classes, each of my students who wouldn't have been able to afford to otherwise were able to sew themselves a top, two types of bottoms, a bag, and scrunchies. At minimum! I am so grateful, and I know that they are as well.

Anyone have any recommendations for any free or cheap sewing downloadable sewing patterns?

I'm going to be trying to learn how to use my sewing machine over the next week or so and want to try making different things. Though clothing is my ultimate goal since I'm at an awkward weight where nothing fits me in a way that I like or fits improperly. I'm going to be graduating in December and want to make my dress for that so I want to get practice in first.

Ultimately any patterns that y'all have tried and really like no matter what it is would really help, plushies, hats, bags, clothes, anything would be really helpful.

I've been using tumblr for years, but i never used it for craft help like i did with reddit. I just started sewing again, and i made a crochet hook case, and I wanted criticism and advice on it, but since we aren't using reddit anymore, Idk if i can ask tumblr for help?? Like, does the sewing community do that here? I could go to Discord, but idk the sewing discord for one, and for two, i forgot to check Discord a lot
