It took a bit of effort (and no small amount of tears), but I successfully made my first sewing project: a jumbo dice bag!

sewing is hell and so is Grimm’s cloak

im making cloaks and im trying to figure out grimms cloak cause it has such a weird shape. (im also getting ahead of myself cause im making hornet, but grimm is easier then HOLLOW”S lopsided mess. hornet is a piece of cake it depends on how much i want it to fold)

but like from what i got, and staring way too long at it. is that there is MORE cloak you cant see due to the way it folds. frame 2 and 3 untuck the folds, and the bottom isnt effected meaning he’s not pulling the cloak UP hes UNFURLING IT.

he litterly folds his cloak like bat wings.  you can test this out yourself with a bed sheet. if you dont tuck the corners to your chin after doing the “bat attack” the hem hangs too far down.

Got some stuff done. I forgot how much I hate pleats. They’re up there with sleeves and trousers. Still got this bonnet to finish and another two to start at some point.

On my lab tour i saw some people that just let theirs drag on the floor?? Eugh my dude thats so nasty 😖 i have two pairs of joggers on their way [evebtually]

It’s too cold to work downstairs today so no painting! I’m gettin as much stuff done upstairs that I can [mom’s shawl, these pants, maybe some digital stuff later??]
