Here’s a comparison between the heads of Tyenna and Wolfy. The first time around with Wolfy, i still had pretty limited experience with making toys, and absolutely 0 prior experiences with working with real fur besides. Well. Gluing fur onto fursuit paws. But anyways. This time i got the pile direction right which makes Tyenna a little less stressful to pet.
Also keep in mind that Tyenna still isn’t threat sculpted or painted yet. I’m waiting until i have his whole body completed until then instead of going in blindly as i go along as i did with wolfy. Secondly, with wolfy i had 0 knowledge of how to make a plush nose… so she ended up with a really long awkwardly shaped nose. With Tyenna i managed to make it fit his face more properly and you can’t see it because of the lighting but he has nostrils.
