anyways with another series down time for fanart :-)
i figured out what the deal is re: stan frederick and his connections with TT and MLA0 for those who are not aware of what is happening
Stan is a paranormal investigator of sorts, and he has been going around investigating different instances of all sorts of creatures ranging from the tall man and the rake, to others he’s never encountered before. his purpose is to help people with their monster problems basically. this is because he is kind of immune, to an extent. or at least, he has such intimate knowledge of these occurrences that he is able to keep himself safe from influence and ward off creatures from other people. (This is because in the original story of StanFrederickBTS, he was able to rid himself of the slender man and become free, henceforth escaping his influence)
he is a very busy guy with all sorts of appointments throughout the year(s) he has been doing this line of work.
recently, an entity called "Lines" had paid stan a visit. because of this, stan decides he needs to solve this problem of his before he continues his investigations. this is where the video "13. Unsatisfied Customers" comes in. he calls everyone he has future appointments with to let them know that he will have to set their appointments back. among the callers is Noah, well, as a voicemail at least. Stan was supposed to contact/meet him four months ago (March). stan says he has been doing things for Noah to try to help, but Noah claims in the voicemail that it hasn't been doing anything at all. In the end, he has to set Noah's "next appointment" back again
The main focus of the video ends up being the call with Michael/Patrick of MLA0. The call starts seemingly as if Michael was calling back from a missed call/message from Stan. Stan's appointment system seems to be that people contact him for help; so as such, this must be the case for Michael as well.
The last activity on the MLA0 channel was October 6, 2014. So between then and the most recent Stan Frederick video, Michael had called to make an appointment with Stan. This means that even after the events of MLA0, it's not over. Whether it's the Man he is worried about still, or even Patrick, something is still afflicting him.
Stan tells him that he will have to push said appointment back a couple months. Michael obviously does not seem very happy about this as first, but eventually settles on it reluctantly.
Stan then goes on to say "Everything is going to be okay" to which Michael says he is cutting out over the phone and to repeat it. Stan makes a face but repeats anyways -- the response is laughter from Patrick. So, it is also apparent that Patrick is still around after the events of GOODBYE on the MLA0 channel too.
Patrick goes on to question the statement and describes what happened to Shaun. He was cut up with that chainsaw indeed. Its hard to tell whether he is angry at the statement or simply amused. Even so, distortion occurs right after Patrick says, "and EVERTHING'S GONNA BE OKAY?" in all caps as transcribed in the CC of the video.
It's at this point he finally tells Stan that he's Patrick and that he will relay the message to Michael. Stan goes to speak to him again but before he can finish his sentence, Patrick hangs up.
To me, this seems like it's more than just a simple cameo, or a little nod to the series. The call with Michael/Patrick ends up being the primary focus, as well as the only clip in the video with a significant amount of distortion. We can also learn a lot about the state of things regarding MLA0 despite it being 'over'. Michael and Patrick are still alive. Something is going on.
Noah is obviously an easier case to figure out the state of things with him, seeing as the series is still ongoing. MLA0, however...all we have is this clip so far. But I have a feeling, in a couple months or however far into the future...
We'll be seeing our favorite Andersen again :-)
