i don't listen to it as much but sounds good feels good is still such a good, in the feels, raw album. like, i love youngblood and calm musically but they don't quite hit me like sgfg did

✍ : What is your muse’s handwriting like? Is it neat? Sloppy? Fancy?
When writing music/lyrics Todd’s handwriting is neat and easy to read bc no one wants to try and read music that looks like it was written by a left handed person writing with their right hand lmao
his regular righting tho? curvy, fancy, looks like he penned the letter in the 18th century with some ink and a quill ( also has a habit of using shorthand when in a hurry so, uh, have fun reading shorthand in squiggly font )
when you spend a whole hour working but thinking about how ur fe fates game goes in writing form and then u wanna write it but ur so lazy and slow when it comes to writing so ur probably never gonna do it

*DISCLAIMER* Okay so Sounds Good Feels Good is a beautiful album about more than just love and in the words of Michael “boy meets girl girl falls for boy” it’s about so much more than that and it deserves credit for things other than love. I am writing these imagines based loosely on what I see as the messages of these gorgeous songs and how the imagine is written with love interests in it should not make anyone think this album is another album full of love songs.

You were his drug. He realized this while looking down at you, you were curled up on his lap, watching a movie. He realized he could never live without you. You giggled at a joke and he felt the sound resonate throughout your body, his heart swelled. He remembered every word you had ever said, he absorbed everything he could about you. He accepted you in despite all of the things you were raised to hate about yourself. He knew your baggage and he knew how you felt about yourself, but he still loved you.
“Calum?” You asked, sitting up and looking at him.
“Yes?” He asked, touching your arm, having the uncontrollable need to touch you at all times, like you would disappear if he didn’t. You looked down suddenly ashamed of your question.
“Do you think we are worth it?” You asked looking down and playing with your fingers.This conversation had been a long time coming, at least from your end of the relationship.
“I don’t understand the question? Are you asking me if our relationship is worth it? Worth what?” Calum asked, his hear beat started to pick up. What in the world could you be talking about? How long had you thought that maybe your relationship with him wasn’t working, wasn’t worth it?
“Calum, I know you know what I mean. Are we worth everything I put this relationship through? Am I worth the media seeing you as this guy who is only dating me to get more fans, am I worth the media perceiving you as a suck up, because your dating someone who is fat?” You asked, you wouldn’t look him in the eye. You wouldn’t lift your head because you didn’t trust yourself to look into his eyes without crying.
“Y/N, is that even a question? You know how much I love you, your body doesn’t offend me i’m obsessed with it, I am completely infatuated with you. I don’t think you understand how much I need you. You are literally my drug, every time I see you I just want to breath you in like you’re vapor. I could not care less about how the media perceives me when it comes to you. You are you and I feel in love with you, for the simple reason that you are addictive to me. The media can think whatever it wan’ts as long as you know I love you and why I love you i’m all good.I can’t remember what my life was without you and I sure as hell don’t want to figure it out. I want you now and forever” Calum said, he needed you to know that. He couldn’t have you making decisions about your relationship based on what other people say or think. He loved you far to much to let anyone but himself and you dictate your relationship.
“Are you positive? Because the last thing I want to do is hold you back from achieving everything you want to achieve with your band and everything.” You said to him, he took your hands and you finally looked up into his eyes.
“Yes, I am 100% positive that I want to be with you. Please don’t ever forget that, promise?” He asked, you smiled. This conversation had gone better than you had ever dared to hope for. You nodded and promised and he brought you into his strong arms. You told each other you loved each other endlessly until you feel asleep, wrapped up in each other, completely taken over by the drug that your relationship was to the both of you.
