Megatron: You think you are playing god-

Optimus: Playing God? What makes you believe I'm merely playing?

He smiled in the most twisted and manic way Megatron ever seen him smiling.

Optimus: I'm acting as God, defeating God, destroying his face and creating somethink new, something better, something in my own image.

Megatron: You completely lost your mind...

Optimus: Oh darling, I've lost my mind long ago. And if you don't accept this new reality and me as your new God... You will beg me on your knees for merciful death.

Shattered Glass!Megatron, meeting an old friend from before the war with the Autobots. Turn of events this friend is from a verse where Megatron is the bad, cruel, warlord instead of Optimus, how would that go?

Oooohhh, this is a really intersting thought!

SG!Megs would be really excited to see his old friend, he’d be beyond relieved to see them alive and safe after a brutal war with the Autobots. 

But when his friend recoils from him and screams threats at him and accuses him for being guilty of the crimes committed by the Optimus the False Prime, he’s confused and hurt but mostly confused because he never did those things.

It’s only after a long while of trying to get his friend to open up and talk to him does he discover they come from a universe where he is the raging Warlord and Optimus is the gentle yet deadly Guardian.

Needless to say SG!Megatron is very...conflicted about this situation.

He doesn’t understand how there could possibly be a version of him who lets his anger and authority corrupt him into something evil. He doesn’t understand how there can be two (or more) versions of the same planet and the same war with the same bots.

Had he not been in the middle of a war, he’d be fascinated by this. 

Ultimately, he’d probably want to offer his friend shelter. Let them decide if they want to stay here with him or if they want to go back to their dimension. 

Secretly, SG!Megs would hope his friend stays as he misses their company but will understand if they want to go back.

What if SG!Megatron had a spark of gold, but came off as threatening/ scary?? Like he really, really does wanna be friends with the little humans that come by the base, but he always ends up scaring them away somehow!!

He ends up avoiding people unless they're really close to him, like Soundwave or Starscream. (They don't judge him and know him as he really is.) He's developed some social anxiety because of his scary aura, which doesn't help his ability to overcome it so he can interact with people. (Soundwave is constantly trying to slowly open him up more, and Starscream cheers him on! Please remember this is SG, lol...)

Other Decepticons aren't afraid, but misunderstand him regardless. They're like "oh wow, he's so manly and tough, he wouldn't take shit from anyone and is sure to protect us all!" In reality, he doesn't like violence all too much and tries to avoid confrontation like the plague-- even though he'll defend core values like justice and peace.

When folks get scared they try to explain that "the boss isn't like that at all! He'd never do that to some defenseless humans!" but with one look, most outsiders still flee... poor guy!
