(Ik last month was also toby, buttttt I have like a million photos of him)
I'll tell you a story, about a person with a incoherent personality: There was a kid that hated the idea of growing up, because the adults showed how difficult it is. The kid never found out something beautiful about the adult world, so while it grow up they were afraid for the future. Meanwhile another kid loved the idea because thought nothing could change and then they could play forever even adult games (violent games not ecchi, it's always a kid) so they were very impatient to grow. What's the meaning of this story? The first kid is my dominant personality, aka SGAD, I never lived in a "happy family" so I was afraid of that world, I'm still afraid since at my 18th birthday I panicked because I don't want to be an adult, I hate the idea of "grow up", but my childish personality, StefyYaoi, thinks it's great to grow because now everyone could talk about everything and no more "you're a child, you can't understand ". Like I said I have an incoherent personality but that's nothing new I guess. I wanted to tell something about me just 'cuz it's important to me this representation. Especially SGAD POV's. #traditionalart #colorfull #sketch #changes #sgad #stefyyaoi #growup #hate https://www.instagram.com/p/B6JVoTKIQK1/?igshid=g8stgrkng7s0

Big fuck off to TERFs don't even breathe your hate on this post you SLUGS
religion doesn’t automatically make you a good or bad person
It’s not how you feel about God, it’s how you treat other humans.
I know many conservative religious people, my former-Greek-orthodox-Christian dad included, who accepted my sexuality immediately. The people who have gone to my past churches are the most kind, charitable people I’ve ever met, but Ialso know atheists who have done the same.
I know a conservative Christian girl who stopped talking to me for a week after, at the age of 10, I told her that I didn’t think gay people were “that bad--” but I also know an atheist who calls me a f*ggot and a d*ke. I know of conservative Christian trans people and liberal atheist transphobes (cough, most TERFs, cough.)
TL;DR: Being religious doesn’t make you a good person. Being an atheist doesn’t make you a good person. Treating others kindly makes you a good person.
The SGAD Awards (Part One)
As anyone who has kept up with this blog over the course of 2013, last year I played quite an unreasonable number of games. Naturally, the only way to properly recap this is hand out entirely arbitrary awards to those that I can actually remember. Some of these articles may contain spoilers. This one doesn't.
Most Brilliantly Bizarre Introduction to a Game:
WINNER: Aquanox
It's quite possible that in the original German Aquanox's introduction was a simple, entirely comprehensive affair that simply explains the game's premise, the main characters and some needless fluff about the game's (actually quite interesting if poorly explored) world. Strangely however, the developers chose to narrate this English version of this preamble with a reedy, almost deadpan voice actor and then combine it with a sound mix that drowns out most of what he says into something that sounds less like the introduction to an action game about shooting things underwater and more like Johnny Depp's portrayal of Hunter S. Thompson. I continue to insist on referring to Aquanox as 'Fear and Loathing in Aqua' to this day.
RUNNER UP: Damnation
It's quite possible that the developers of Damnation spent more time on the introduction sequence than any other part of the game. It starts out with some slightly silly alternate history and then just gets sillier and sillier, adding steampunk armies, tanks the size of buildings, a lone swordsman that slaughters an entire platoon and heroes that bust in on massive steam-bikes whilst still shooting accurately. It's barely coherent, hyperactive, and if it weren't for the grey-brown palette, would feel precisely like something straight out of a particularly bad anime. The 12-year old me would have loved every second of it, but then, the 12-year old me was an idiot.
