Sh 2-279: the Running Man Nebula (LRGB)
The Orion Nebula's less popular companion nebula. Like its big brother, it's a very bright combination reflection and emission nebula, and is chock full of very bright stars and faintly illuminated dust, making it a major challenge to process in tight framings like this.
Shot at 1600mm with a 200mm Ritchey-Chretien telescope (f/8) using a ZWO ASI533MM Pro camera.
1h each of RGB (12x300"), 3h15m of luminance (65x180"), for a total integration time of 6h15m.
