Vocal dissonance [Makoto & Giulio]
Unexpectedly, his 'business trip' to Prava involved a lot of waiting around. There wasn't much to do in his hotel room. Just the occasional paper work that he'd finished in advance. He'd eaten room service for 3 days straight and subjected himself to watching stupid reality shows to pass the time. He considered staring at the wall instead of watching another mind numbingly boring episode of whatever it was that played on the TV.
But he wasn't that desperate.
Finally, the boredom proved too much to bear. Grabbing his coat, he decided to get lose himself in the city. Maybe hop on a bus and get off at the last station or when the bus driver's head began to turn 360 degrees.
His feet had other plans though. The only thing in the way of exercise he'd done in the past 3 days was occasionally pitching a crumbled piece of paper at the dustbin, missing, and then actually getting up to throw it into the bin. So when his feet actually began working properly again, it didn't let the chance go to waste, and that was how Giulio found himself somewhere in the city, very much lost, any mode of transportation back to his hotel.
Which wasn't necessarily bad. He was glad to be far away from the dull room that reminded him vaguely of his incarceration in Daivan's prison.
After loitering the streets of Prava for a couple of hours or so, the young man was stopped by the sensation of his stomach trying to eat it's way out of his abdomen. He patted his belly, as if warning an errant child to quieten down, until the grumbling finally fizzled off and subsided.
Normally, the lilac haired man would ignore his bodily urges until it became far too painful to bear. He usually had more important things to do, and stopping to fill his stomach could only slow him down. But while he was wholly content to fill his stomach on the gorgeous landscapes of the city, biology had other plans. With another beastly growl from the depths of his body, he supposed that a break was warranted.
Wandering into the first Cafe queue he could find, it took a while before he could finally get a seat for himself. The place was ridiculously crowded with girls and the occasional guy. The menu set on the table had the words 'Cafe Soleil' emblazoned brightly onto it's cover. Taking it into his hands, purple eyes scanned the contents of the desserts section (again, cheerily emblazoned with fancy, cursive text) with mild interest.
Having decided on something that looked vaguely delicious, he set aside the menu and flagged down a nearby waiter with a polite '... excuse me'.
