Does anyone remember me here? I went on a tirade a couple years ago privating all of my stuff and I was rereading some of it recently and it’s somewhat relit my spark for writing! Yeah— we logged in last night and WATCHED the “messages” icon disappear from our activity//notifs…. we have absolutely no idea what’s going on, and thought it to be a minor issue that would fix itself over night, but we awake to find it’s still missing and have no ideas on how to start fixing it. there was whispers of tumblr shadow banning accounts for no particularly reason about three years back in a reddit chain we stumbled upon with these same problem, and considering this account has nothing to do with any explicit//evil themes there should be no reason why we’re being affected— we never violated any TOS either…. at least we don’t think??? it’s really perplexing our brain currently…

Any other entity going through this??

guys i really don’t know what’s going on with my tumblr but when i search for my account on google, it doesn’t even come up and it’s stressing me out because i also can’t even message because the tab is completely gone. please tell me if you can see this and if there’s any way to fix it because suddenly, my account died and i don’t understand what’s going on. i can’t even comment. did i do something wrong? i really don’t know. please help…

edit: I’ve come to the conclusion that i may be shadowbanned but idk for sure.

i think ive been shadowbanned or something, already asked tumblr support but anyone I follow who sees this dm me "marshmallows need help too" or you could just reply with marshmallows marshmallows are indeed a common thing in the realm of marshmallowim where I dwell.
