Hey, I don't know if you have any time to read stuff right now, but if you're looking for a book, you should totally read The Seafarer's Kiss, by Julia Ember. 1. Mermaids 2. Lesbians 3. Loki 3a. The author used the pronouns they/them for Loki It's really good, and it's not too long (just over 200 pages)

i literally could not think of a better way to entice me into reading a book, i am definitely going to get a copy! thank you so much for the rec, i’ll read it as soon as possible :) x

How was your acting course? Did you have fun 'pretending' to like girls?

reeeally good thanks! hahah yeah i did :’) i had the role of director today as well, and ended up making a sort of lesbian comedy short film, which was a lot of fun too. xx

I learned how to play mahjong pretty quickly over the last month!

Who insists they are an awesome dancer even though they’re terrible?Jemma. Daisy’s a ridiculously good dancer but refuses to say how she learned.

Who likes to watch reality TV?DAISY. Jemma just watches lame docos and gets mad when Daisy suggests that Real Housewives is like a documentary, just more interesting.

Who refuses to wear pants when they’re home alone?Daisy. Her favorite thing to do is annoy Jemma with her increasingly ridiculous underwear. (There are science-themed underpants and Daisy makes sure Jemma sees all of them.)

Who is the jealous/protective one?Jemma’s jealous, Daisy’s protective.

Who goes all out on the holidays?Jemma. Daisy’s still getting used to celebrating holidays.

Who cries over books?JEMMA SO HARD.

Who is terrible with kids?Jemma can get a little awkward around kids, but she also thinks it’s important to be able to talk to anyone, so she’s made an effort to be better with kids.

Who drinks too much caffeine?Daisy shotguns Red Bulls with no remorse. Her heart does not thank her for this.

Who could sleep for twenty-four hours straight?Daisy, normally after one of the aforementioned Red Bull binges.

Who never wears matching socks?Daisy!  

Who punches a tree when they’re angry?Daisy. Sometimes when she’s feeling particularly salty Jemma will make a comment about hurting her relatives (cuz Daisy’s a flower, and trees are related to flowers, and... well, Jemma finds it funny).

Who gets scared by the toaster?Daisy, but only because she forgets that she put toast down in the first place.
