What if Slim is the first one, beside Marshall, to realise that he can travel between the Emverses?
Like Marshall wouldn't do that, to not mess with the lives of the others and to not accidentally change the timeline.
But Slim, he would do that the moment he could. One of the most recent examples: Houdini MV.
Slim went because he could not because he had to.
Anyway, that was the pre-story, now to what I really want to say:
The first place Slim went to was 8Mile.
Just imagine, the entire 313 sitting with Slim at a table and just trying to understand why the hell he looks sooooo much like their Jimmy.
And Slim keeps the reality to himself for a while, he has fun watching Future, B-Rabbit and the others trying to find out what the fuck is happening.
At some point he does drop the bomb and B-Rabbit almost had a heart attack.
And Marshall notices this. A little change that happened, a picture that suddenly existed. A picture of Slim and B-Rabbit. The fans don't pick up on it. Nowadays we have photoshop and AI, so no big surprise for such a thing to exist. But Marshall knows that the photo is real, he knows. And he knows it shouldn't exist.
So he decides that he has to go to 8Mile to see what happened.
And what is one of the first things he sees?
Slim getting his back blow out by B-Rabbit.
