Something I find odd in how the fandom reacted to Vivianne saying "Valentino doesn't understand consent" is how this is the same fandom that loves to headcanon that "Val would be into anything." I've seen so many people saying Valentino can't be whumped because he's a slutty freak and he'd probably enjoy it (especially for scenarios that are downright noncon). As if... that isn't the exact way Valentino views Angel? "But he deserves it anyway!" Aaaaaand that's exactly the type of mindset Valentino has when abusing Angel.
