Xero's off to find himself in his shitty van. he's got a map of the galaxy and no destination, no timeline*, just wanderlust and a loudass stereo blasting his own EP, which frankly rules.

...could use some polish. And a real drummer.

He has a few stops to make, a few couches to crash on, but otherwise no obligations. It'll probably be no problem getting gigs. No matter where you go, what planet or moon you pass through, there's some equivalent of a coffeeshop that needs a soulful guy with a guitar to sit in the corner and croon/whine.

He'll be fine. Probably.

*unless he's not back at the end of this "gap year". then he might be in some pretty hot water with his folks.

i don't think anyone on the whole internet is quite the exact wavelength im made of the way patricia taxxon is. just when i finally "find my art style" for the first time meaningfully in my life (sketchy simplistic furries composited onto real photos with a short, vague but calculated caption to set the vibes) she posts this and explains to me what the appeal of that style is to me, what it means to me, perfectly. best dog
