So ig I'm curious to what extend people consider them canon if that even makes sense idk? Or is it really just a mixed thoughts situation where people pick and choose whatever and don't really care-

Lately I just have a lot of distrust for like... Super Nice Definitely VERY Empathetic Fandom Mom types who make long posts about how all their followers are #valid and #beautiful and deserve all the compassion for their #trauma in this way that makes it sound like they’re addressing a class of unruly 3rd graders. Like, I don’t know quite how to describe the Vibe of it, but you know what I’m talking about! The kind of person who says “you can talk to me if you’re suicidal ANY TIME, I am very empathetic, I’m a Good Person who is Here For You, strangers of the internet, you are all my sweet smol bean children uwu” and make no mention of boundaries or whatever because they just Assume that all anyone in crisis might need is a pat on the head and a cookie. 

I could like... try to explain why this feels super fake and irresponsible (and, without assigning any intentionality or whatever, raises a bunch red flags generally) but I don’t have the cognitive function for it right now because my mental health is Too Bad For That and you know... I’m pretty sure if I tried to talk to any of these uwu fandom moms about said flagging mental health, they’d call me emotionally abusive for telling them I want to self-harm and block me and then spend weeks vagueing about how it’s valid to cut out “toxic people”.
