Angey Maoye!!
Stolen prince au
Dbk stared at his former sworn brother and his shaking son the little thief no Xiaotin. This was a neutral meeting to discuss the wedding contract and potential dowry.
"We're here to discuss the dissolvement of the contract."
If Wukong hadn't brought his lawyer.
"The contract has been set in stone since Macaque brought Qi Xiaotian to our doorstep." DBK said, glaring down the woman. Sh-something. He didn't remember. Didn't care to. "He begged shelter for us. The child's hand in marriage was our agreement price."
The woman didn't flinch, opening her briefcase. "Except it was never formally agreed. Not by Macaque nor Sun Wukong." She pulled out two papers and set them down. "I have statements from both them."
"There is a contract, written up by the lawyers, that have found loopholes." Wukong opened his mouth and then winced. Had she kicked him? "We did not need their permissions. Now-"
"Loopholes that existed back then," the lawyer said, interrupting. DBK snorted. Much to his regret, Xiaotian winced but the lawyer stood firm. "Laws have been rewritten, changed, and even discarded over the centuries. You can't use loopholes that no longer exist."
"My son disagrees with you." He was so glad that Red Son had gained that law degree.
"Your son has a personal stake in this. I wouldn't trust a word he says."
DBK growled. "I'm done arguing with you." He instead turned his eyes to his former sworn brother. "Now, about the dowry-"
He barely dodged the fist. "DO YOU WANNA GO BACK UNDER THAT MOUNTAIN FOR ANOTHER TEN YEARS?!" Wukong had jumped up on the table, Xiaotian ducking under the table. "BECAUSE THE DOWRY'S GONNA BE-"
"WUKONG, NO!"
I totally agree with you, Jing Shao
This scene was too sexy for words!!!
Just imagining the screeches of those concubines as they are put in their place and Jun Qing establishing his power as the Wang Fei is incredibly satisfying, much like the mood for most of the novel (PLEASE IM BEGGING Y’ALL TO READ IT)
And just when Jun Qing starts second guessing himself
We get this smitten, i’m-falling-in-love-with-you-more-and-more look from his husband
*SCREAAAAAMS*
JING SHAO YOU LOVESICK FOOL! You better treat Mu Hanzhang like he’s made of fucking gold!!!
Okay, finally starting to slowly post my White Cat Legend fan art/doodles to Tumblr. 😆
"All the gay and merry~"
A doodle of Wang Qi and Cui Bei (and their silly cat) based on the lyric translation that White Cat Legend season 1 went with for their ED!
