Beauty Tip of the day Eyebrow pencil or Eyebrow powder? With so many different types of makeup for eyebrows it is no wonder that we get confused as to what the difference is between them. Eye brow pencils are more for corrective, and are good  for creating sharp arches, or extending the brows tail end, or even even filling in that obvious gap. But you need to  be a pro to use one where it doesn't look like you just drew your eyebrows on with a marker. Eye power - Eye brow powders are more suited to you if you just want your brows to look fuller and work best on eyebrows that already have a good shape. You can use the two together and this is actually how you get the best look.

Beauty tip of the day! Sisters not twins! Don't worry about trying to match your eyebrows as they are sisters not twins, So they will not look exactly the same.  Many  ladies make the mistake of plucking a hair from one brow and then trying to match it to the other. This could leave you with over-plucked brows, which we are pretty sure you don’t want.

Cosplay make up question: my eyebrows are dark colored, but not thick and look like very short, messy hair. How do I make them look neater?

easiest thing to do is take a slanted eye shadow brush:

and eye shadow (of whatever color you’re going for brown or black)

and follow your natural browline and just fill it in. You can elongate your eyebrow by extending the line. Be careful to make sure both are symmetrical. You can suggest an arch by moving the brush in an upwards arc with your eyebrow

but if your going for a dramatic arch then its better to just draw them (see below)

If you have dark and are going for blonde OR

IF you are going for another eyebrow color like blue or red, or white, or orange:

It is best to start over. That is to draw on your eyebrows completely. In order to do this you must glue down your eyebrows with a glue stick, and then put foundation on them, and THEN draw on your eyebrows. This is of course a lot more complicated than the others. 

I plan on making a video about eyebrows where I can do all of these techniques: mostly the last one, I’ll draw on blonde eyebrows for Thor. 

But this video might not happen until after AnimeNext. Maybe earlier if I’m lucky.

That being said. Not many people go this extra mile. For example I don’t have any pictures of my Thor with drawn on eyebrows. Only Thor with my natural brown eyebrows. That being said, I don’t think it takes too much away from the cosplay.

Can someone please point me in the way of a good (easy to follow) eyebrow tutorial? Preferably picture and not YouTube. Mine need some extreme loving. Ta babeses :)

When you have nothing to do, what do YOU do? I say, shape your eyebrows!!

Okay so I "tried" sleeping early to set my body clock right for the following school weeks, but heck I can't even close my eyes for a minute or two! So I thought of things to do.... Well I wrote something in my diary :> then I decided to shape my eyebrows. More often than not, I don't go to salons to let them fix it. I just do my own thing, lol. 

So there are the essentials I got haha. Yes, I use tweezers. I hate threading!! It makes me cry. I don't wanna cry anymore (LOL, may pinaghuhugutan CHOS!), I use petroleum jelly for the initial step and rub some on my eyebrows until they're kinda red. XD Then I use the black eyeliner to make the desired eyebrow shape, then I pluck the hairs I want to be gone! 

The previous eyebrow of mine had a more edgy arch at the end part which makes me look bitchy LOL. I chose a flatter eyebrow shape now with less pronouncement at the arch area. I thought it looked better la~ So yea. :)

Learning How to Shape Eyebrows

Learning the proper way involving tips on how to shape eyebrows can certainly transform your glimpse significantly. The Most Perfect Brow is certainly one that isn't overly plucked and bare but natural as well as properly groomed. You should refrain from an eyebrow that is too thin or too high. Shaping requires eliminating unnecessary hair from equally above and below the eyebrow. The shape of the eyebrow is correct whenever the start of the brow will be lined up with the center in the nostril and the arch starts over the back third in the eye. To create the most perfect shape for you personally comply with these kinds of easy ways:

The First Step - Figure out Exactly where Your Eyebrow Will Start

View in the mirror. Take a pencil or make up brush and also hold this straight up against one nostril. The location where the makeup brush or pencil comes across your eyebrow is going to be where you would like your eyebrows to start. Place a dot right here to indicate the starting position. At this moment continue doing this same process on the other eye. Just about any unwanted hair you might have beyond that line will need to be plucked away. In case your eyes really are spaced close together you may open your eye area simply by widening the gap relating to the brows.

Step 2: Where Your Brow Should End

Go ahead and take same pencil or makeup brush and hold it once again up and down against your nostril, after that position this towards the outer corner of the eye. Place a dot here as well to suggest where you would like your eyebrow to finish. Continue doing this process on the other eye.

Step Three:  Locate Your Arch
