this is just a poll of the ships I had when I started watching tv and started shipping so delena, stydia, bughead, bellarke aren't here because I started shipping them in my late teens and my 20's also no girl meets world because I was like 23 when that came out lol I started really watching tv and etc when I was like 11-12 so lol I also started shipping michael/maria and shawn/angela but only had 12 options and wanted to include some I haven't before lol I also didn't include chair or serenate because I've included them multiple times and wanted to include other ships lol

what if i bring up how shane mccutcheon from the L word was largely mislabeled as a “serial monogamous” and a “cheater” simply because she was a masculine-presenting lesbian whose boundaries were blatantly disregarded by every woman who ever claimed to like her…. dare i say that she was demonized for reacting to feeling trapped in relationships she was emotionally manipulated into when she clearly stated many times that she wasn’t a relationship person, yet none of her suitors seemed to care about what she wanted or needed, so long as they could possess her????

what if i say this is a common experience amongst butch/masculine-presenting lesbians.

will never fully understand people who don’t like shane and carmen like they’re not the best couple ever but they have such a genuine love and understanding for each other and we see that in so many scenes it’s so upsetting that we didn’t have more soft scenes of them when other couples did because i think that would have helped so much and knowing there are deleted scenes out there- the kitchen scene in season 2 will always be my favorite because it’s the first time we see a partner genuinely understand and care for shane and we see shane open up due to that and she’s so protective of herself and the people she loves so seeing her let those walls down goddddd will forever wonder about what could have been if the writers let them be happy and sarah’s contract wasn’t up like shane will always love carmen and i wish we got to see more of carmen like solo- with other characters besides shane or just herself
